Luke's POV:
we both collapsed onto the bed in a fit of giggles. I sighed and we both chucked our practically empty pillows onto the floor."you know, Luke, you're a bundle of fun, mate!" she smiled.
"thanks, Marnie. back at ya," I chuckled. then I rolled over to face her. she also turned around and looked me dead in the eyes. i cleared my throat and twirled a piece of her hair in my fingers. "i, um, you see..." she giggled and placed one of her smooth hands on my cheek, tracing my cheekbones and my jaw and over my lips. "well, Marnie, I really, like, REALLY, like you," she blushed and looked down "hey, there's something I need to give you." I said with a smirk and her head shot up.
"ok..."
"first, you have to hold this." I gave her my hand and laced our fingers together. "Luke-"
"no buts. now come a little closer."she wouldn't budge so I curled a hand under her waist and pulled her across.
she bit her lip.
"now, here it is." I said as I leaned in to kiss her. our lips brushed softly against each other. it was a sweet, innocent kiss. it was perfect. until...
"Luke, before, this goes any further. you have to promise that you won't screw me up."
"yes, I'm going nowhere. I'll stay right here with you through anything."
"thankyou." she said, and I knew she meant it. "for everything. last night, the club when we first met, the ice cream dates. everything. " she said it with such truth, such certainty. she really did mean it.
"thank you for letting me in and telling me about the paper. don't feel pressured to tell me anything else but I'm always here, just know that." and with that, she kissed me.
I was falling hard for this girl.

after a bit of kissing and stuff, we decided to head out to the shops so we could buy some new clothes for each other.
"you know, Luke, I think it's fun doing this kind of stuff, like proper coupley and all that," she laughed.
"aw, Princess. that's so cute. I love doing coupley things with you." I smiled back at her.I went to shower and stuff while she got dressed and put on her makeup. the thing about Marnie is that she wears a lot of makeup. I don't know why, she's so beautiful without it as well as with it. but she just wears a lot of it.
I mean, don't get me wrong, she looks great and she puts it on well but it's just layer after layer of foundation and bronzer or whatever.
I got dressed in her bathroom seeing as we weren't quite at the stage in our relationship where we can get changed in front of each other yet. I had to get changed into my clothes from yesterday and use one of her toothbrushes (don't worry it wasn't used).
I drove us into the shopping centre and we started looking for somewhere that would sell band tees and skinny jeans and stuff like that. we went into one of those stores that had like some funky name like 'blue banana' or something and I bought a couple of pairs of jeans and this black tank top with an anchor on it that said 'trust no one'.
Marnie got a girl bra/top thing that was black and had Mickey Mouse with his middle fingers up on and some galaxy leggings.
we were at the checkout and were about to pay when my eyes fell upon these bracelets that had these waste baskets filled with paper on them and then these feathers and loads of other random stuff like love hearts and things. I quickly grabbed them and added them to the pile as we payed.
Marnie looked at me weirdly and then glanced at the bracelets. she looked up from the counter and smirked at me.
we left the shop with our bags and I reached into mine and pulled out the bracelets. "so, Marns, what do you think?"
"they're beautiful, Luke! I love them. they describe us perfectly with the waste paper basket and stuff and the feathers and how it's all jumbled but still looks good. it's just perfect really.""aw, babe, I'm glad you think so. me too." I slipped one over her wrist and then popped the other one on mine.
we held hands as we walked for a bit until we got to Starbucks. when we were there. we got a table then I took her order and went to get the coffee.
just as I was waiting in line, a group of girls came up to me.
fans.
they nervously walked up with their phones in their hands. "um, hey, Luke. can, uh, can we get a picture or something? would that be ok?" one of them gushed, going red.
"of course, of course. anything for a fan." I chuckled nervously. I took a picture with each fan and by now I was getting a few weird looks. I ordered the coffee and handed one to Marnie.
"hey, princess. can we go? I'm sorry I just don't like being somewhere where everyone knows I'm famous, you know?"
"yes of course, Luke. not at all. lets go."
