Callum
Laying down my guard due to the fact that I only know 1 personal fact. He has a cousin-in-law, who awfully looks like Felicia. I don't know if I should be scared or weirded out. Or should be mad, because the fact na pinapahirapan niya ako dito is frustrating.
"Mr. Hernandez you did the papers wrong, again" Claudio furrowed.
"Hah? Pero I did the correct stats and-"
"Do it again, this time properly" Claudio rolled his eyes as he handed the papers back.
"Dimwit wonderbitch no good for nothing asshole" He whispered.
"I heard that" Claudio says as Callum closes the door behind him.
Callum then sat on his office as there was a knock.
"Pasok" Sigaw ni Callum as a familiar coconut head popped out.
"Oh, Mr. Hadyer, napadalaw ka" Knowing his superiority, Callum stood up.
"Just call me Calisto, a friend of my brother is a friend of mine" Calisto smiles.
"Hindi kami friends, kung talagang kaibigan kami edi sana ang bwisit na stats na hindi ito pinapaulit-ulit sa akin" Callum ranted.
"Hey ease the tension Cal, I'm sure there is nothing wrong" Calisto came to check the papers.
"Yikes" Callum spiked his breath as Callum furrowed.
"Yikes? Yikes where?" Callum asks.
"I mean Claud was right eh. A lot" Calisto giggled
"Mama!" Callum whined sitting on his swiveling chair.
"Baka bobo lang talaga ako in this business thing" Callum puts his head down and mentally cried.
"Hey, relax okay? All you gotta do, is ask naman. I'm sure I can help you out" Calisto patted.
"A secretary job is always the depended one, I guess I'll be willing to put effort dito" Callum stretched.
"Tsaka pala, bakit ka nandito?" Callum asks.
"Oh me? Dio told me to check on you daw para hindi ka pumalpak" Calisto answered.
"Also I came by to tell you in his account na you suck in everyway daw kahit ano pa gagawin mo"
"Well, my job here is done. Alis na muna ako, and uh, good luck with those stats report" Calisto chimed as there was silence.
"YOU SON OF THE MOTHERDUCK CUMQUAT BUFFOON AKO MISMO ANG GAGAWA NG SINIBAWANG CEO AT IPAKAIN SA ASO MO!" Callum screamed as he rambles.
"Claud from a mile, naririnig ko na boses niya" Calisto says as Claudio turns his chair towards the window.
"Don't you think pinapahirapan mo na sa much? I mean, baka hindi business ang major niya noon" Claudio sighs.
"Kim Seokjin became an idol, and his major was acting. What's the difference?" Claudio shrugs.
"Well he ain't a Kim Seokjin that's for sure. Pero this is Callum Hernandez, a guy who just happens to be your personal doctor's understudy" Calisto points out.
"And the guy who happens to look, just like Lucas" He adds as Claudio clicks his tongue
"Yeah, just like him"
"For how long are you gonna keep loving Lucas and chose to forget him milliseconds later?" Calisto asks.
Claudio didn't reply, he couldn't even answer that.
"You deserve to be happy, pero may mga bagay na kailangan na nating talikuran. If he left, then why bother staying in despair? It's how life works" Calisto stood up and left the office.
Claudio sighed at the words of his bestfriend. I mean, Aluminox and Lucas' siblings were the only ones left kay Claudio to trust.
So why bother opening his heart to another?
Callum
It was the end shift na ng iba, and I had to search sa Youtube kung paano gumawa ng stats. Well, it did work things out the way it should be done. Parang sarap ilibing sarili ko, tama nga sila. MALI LAHAT NG GINAWA KO HUHU.
"Just one more" Callum motivates himself as he finishes the papers.
"Let's call a person nga" Callum dials his phone and went to FaceTime.
It was already 7:43 ng gabi and he texted Eric na magiging late siya uwi. Pero to no response or seen.
He decided to call another close contact.
"Santi!" He greets.
"Hey! Everything okay? Bakit nasa working outfit ka pa?" He asks.
"Nagovertime ako, just finishing the papers" Callum smiles.
"That CEO of yours is a dick in the ass" Santi sighs.
"Iyan nga eh, pero I notice a lot" Callum says.
"He was very friendly towards the other staffs. Isa pa! Yung babae nung first day na dumating ako dito? He treated her coffee. Starbucks pa!" Callum exclaimed.
"Cal, you have to chill. You're a new staff member ng kaniyang kompanya. Baka hindi ka na ganon katiwala" Santi says.
"He did told me something personal even though that's rule number 4" Callum whispered.
"Well that's a starter. Pero did you call Eric about it? Parang hindi kayo nag-uusap" Santi mentions.
"Well he became busy at the museum with assisting and all, pero I even grow apart na-"
"Are you suggesting you're breaking up?! I mean, oh that's sad pero buhay lang iyan. I can hook you up into other guys-"
"Santi" Callum breathed.
"What? I'm just helping" Santi shrugs.
"I'm not breaking up with him gagi ka, it's just, he's always tired pagdating sa bahay" He sadly sided.
"I'm sure things will be great na ulit, keep that gay chin up! Tulog na nga ako" He yawned as Callum giggled.
"Sure, night" Callum ended the call as he looked at the window.
"Wishing star, please give me a sign na things get better" He pouted as a star passed by.
"Hmm" Ngumiti si Callum as he exited the office.
Claudio
The next day approached as I was processing the following papers. For an underwear brand, we had some of the most famous deals both nationally and internationally. I then heard the door opened.
"Mr. Hernandez, please knock" Claudio glared.
"I've been knocking the last couple of minutes sir, kulang nalang ulo mo iuntog ko sa pintuan mo gawin kong personal doorbell ko" Callum says as he drops the paper on the the desk.
"Stats. Natapos ko na kagabi, you went home early daw sabi ni Yves kaya iniwan ko lang sa cubicle ko" Callum mentioned.
Claudio stared at the papers as he snickers. Intentionally, he pushed it off the desk making it scatter.
"You-"
"Walang reklamo, do your job" Claudio says coldly as Callum fisted his hands as he knelt on the floor, picking the papers up.
"You know just because you are my doctor's understudy you can mope around and act like you knew me so well" He stood up walking to him, with a cup of coffee.
"I say, it should add more flavour" Claudio then pours the hot coffee on the papers as Callum backed away while holding his hands.
"Shit!" Callum swears.
"Listen sweetheart, the longer you stay here, I'll make sure your misery comes first than your profession" Claudio knelt to his level as he hissed.
Callum just silently looks at him in fear, holding his burnt hand, not until a door was wide open.
"Claudio I came with your bagels..." A cheery voice says and a group of people entered.
"What the..."
The way na inabutan sila ay agad tumayo sila, clearing their throats.
"Seb, guys"
