Chapter 20: Jealousy, Jealousy

Callum

We marched inside kasama si Aling Seli as we stumble across Lucas and Claudio, they must be done talking. Siguro if I have the strength to step up, siguro sinubo ko na sa kaniya ang water bottle ni Aling Seli sa lalamunan niya. But that would be so unkind of me.

"Ah, Mr. Hernandez, nauuhaw ka ba? You feeling fine? Bakit ka pinapawisan?" Claudio furrows.

"Ang init kasi sa labas kaya ako lumabas" He smiled.

"But didn't you say na mainit sa labas?" Lucas furrowed.

"Bakit niyo ako pinagaabala? Aren't there things that you two should talk about? Things to catch up? Ganon?" Callum exaggerates as Claudio slowly nods.

"Yes yes, business. Lucas mauna ka muna sa meeting room, may paguusapan muna kami ni Mr. Hernandez dito" Claudio points as Lucas smiles.

"See you there Dio" Lucas went away as Claudio approaches Callum.

"So uhh, yung dinner mamayang gabi. You'll be coming, right?" Claudio slightly asks.

"Of course naman, bakit mo pinagalala iyan?" Callum scoffs.

"Kasi... I was worried I would make you wait long" He said.

Callum's face went cold as he clears his throat.

"I think you should go na sir, baka inaantay ka na doon" Callum says.

"Pero ikaw? You'll also be in the meeting kasi" He furrowed.

"I'll follow, may kailangan pa akong asikasuhin" Callum smiled as Claudio nods and walks away.

"Mahal niyang bumalik pero ang puso hindi na tumitbok para sa kaniya" A voice spoke.

"Ay j- Aling Seli? Were you listening?" Callum furrows.

"Kunti lang. Lalabas na ako sana" She rests the bottle down.

"Iho, wag kang sumuko sa isang pag-ibig na isinulat sa iyo ng tadhana" She said.

"How can you be sure na siya na yung tinadhana para sa akin? I mean Lucas and him have more chemistry" He pointed.

"May dahilan kung bakit siyang ipaghiwalay sa kanilang kwento. Pero kayo? Pinatagpo kayo ng may dahilan, pinatagpo kayo dahil kayo ang sumulat ng kwento niyo, na ipinasa ng iyong lumang kaluluwa para mahanap mo ang parehong tao na minahal niya sa kaniyang buhay" She held his hand.

"Kaya wag mong isuko ang ganitong pag-ibig. Papipiliin, magmahal at masaktan na walang pagsisisi o hindi na talaga magmahal" She smiled as she walked away.

Callum looks down as he looks ahead back. With his head up high, with a sliver of hope.

A hope na siya ang pipiliin ni Claudio.

Lucas

We are sitting along the office as finally after minutes of waiting, dumating si Callum. I have to admit, the brown hair and glasses makes him a decent guy. Maybe too decent. Kasi Claudio mentioned he won't start unless Callum's here. I have to find out what's going on with him.

"Mr. Hernandez, you arrived" Claudio says as he sat beside.

"Sensya lang talaga sir" Callum reasons as Lucas clears his throat.

"Right, so, today's agenda is the upcoming launch of the new releases of the products. Any ideas for launch parties?" Claudio asks.

"We can have a masquerade themed party sir, since marami ang pupunta" The lady suggested.

"I can consider that naman, anything else?" Claudio asks.

"When will this be pala sir? Because we can have arrangements for events" The man asks as Claudio thinks. He then looks at Lucas at his side.
