Callum
In the end, we slept at his house. I was awake the whole night. How can I sleep soundlessly when everything is happening right in front of my eyes. It was already 3:40 ng umaga as I received a call from Jaxx.
"Jaxx? Hindi ka pa tulog?" Callum asks.
Jaxx was crying, hiccuping as Callum sat on the bed.
"Jaxx? Ano ang nangyayari? Ano?" Callum was worried.
"S-si Sue" he cries as Callum's eyes widened.
"H-hindi, wait, please explain what happened Jaxx I'm begging you" Callum says, on the verge of crying.
"Sue is yelling sa loob ng ER pero andito parin ako. They are gonna do a C-section daw, please puntahan mo kami dito please" He says as Callum's eyes became glossy, agad nagising si Claudio sa tabi nito.
"H-hang on okay? Pupunta na ako diyan" He said fixing his shirt and ended the call.
"Love? What happened?" Claudio asks.
"Si Sue, nasa state of emergency. Jaxx is still waiting outside sa ER. They are gonna perform a C-section on her" Claudio pounced on his bed and got ready.
They were already on the car getting ready, both mentally praying they arrive on time.
Jaxx
How can I sleep peacefully when my wife is literally fighting for her and our baby's life. Sa buong pregnancy niya, hindi niya nireveal ang gender ng anak namin. She promised us to surprise us with the outcome once na mailabas na anak namin.
C-section is indeed painful in the process, pero I know my wife is the strongest person I know, siguro minumura na niya anak namin na lumabas na eh.
Jaxx was holding his hands together at tsaka na dumating sina Callum at Claudio.
"Asan si Seven?" Tanong ni Claudio.
"Kasama niya sina Nicolo at Keith. I can't face Nicolo now, parang ako tuloy ang guilty dito" Jaxx sighed.
"Hey, we'll pull through this together Jaxx. Lahat tayo, walang iwanan dito" Callum says as Jaxx smiled.
"You know, hindi pa namin nireveal ang gender ng anak namin so I am excited kung babae man siya o lalake" Jaxx says as Callum's heart became warm.
"Did you have specific names you wanted to pick?"
"Kung babae, she wanted to name her Lilac Celestina" Jaxx says as Callum smiled.
"Lilac is a pretty color and a flower too" Callum says.
"And if lalaki, we decided on naming him Jaxx Jr." He smiled.
"Alam mo, kung ano man ang kalabasan, I'm sure she is beautiful at pogi man" Claudio spoke as they pat his back.
"Thank you talaga guys" Jaxx smiled as the doors opened.
Revealing Olivia with some amount of blood sa covering niya as lumapit siya sa kaniya.
"Where's my wife Dra.? Bakit mo ako pinagbawalan na makita siya?" Jaxx glared as Olivia sighed.
"Your wife requested me to lock you out dito sa ER. She didn't want to see you suffer daw" Olivia says.
"So where is she? I need to see her! Kailangan ko makita ang anak namin!" He exclaimed as Olivia stood still.
There was a moment of silence as Jaxx felt like the ground was collapsing.
"I'm sorry Mr. De Los Santos, they didn't make it in time" She lowers her head as Callum gasped.
Jaxx dropped his knees on the ground as he clenched his fist.
"It was too much to handle for Sue. There was too much pressure and stress making the baby disturbed sa loob niya" Olivia spoke as Claudio wanted to hug Jaxx so bad.
"I'm sorry, excuse me" Olivia then left as Callum continental to send secret glares
Callum
I was waiting muna dito sa ICU. Admiring those babies who are crying or sleeping, I couldn't imagine the pain Jaxx was facing. To lose a child, and lost his wife at the same time. It was too much to even handle, I was the guilty charge here.
"I warned you, Mr. Hernandez" A voice spoke as Callum didn't bother to look at the person.
"Don't you dare na magsumbong sa pulis, I can have my next target either be Santi, Yves... Or Claudio" she spoke.
"Ikaw ba ang nagbigay sa akin doon sa bahay?" Callum gritted his teeth.
"Careful Callum, you're playing with fire. If, you scream, I'll have this gun go through your chest" Callum noticing the gun on her abdomen level, pointing at him.
"Ano gusto mo? Tigilan mo na kami, please" Callum begged.
"Layuan mo na sina Lucas and Claudio. Hindi ka ba naaawa sa sarili mo o sa kanilang lahat?" She asks.
"W-why does it involve Lucas and Claudio?" He stutters. Suddenly feeling nervous, he desperately wanted things to be right again.
"You're in the way sa tadhana nila. Lucas did everything para maayos niya relasyon niya with his aunt, at bumalik dito in the hopes na makipagbalikan siya kay Claudio"
"Pero, as you've known, you and Claudio made it official. Don't you think you're being too selfish na sa twin mo?" Her face was covered with a face mask as Callum looks at her.
"Listen, I won't do anything to the others unless you know the right thing" She said and decided to walk away.
Callum glancing at the woman who talked to him, he sighed as he bit his lip.
"Love? Bakit napapunta ka dito?" Claudio suddenly popped out of nowhere as Callum shrugs besides him.
"Don't you think it's weird na tinatawag mo akong 'Love'?" Callum furrowed.
"Why? Ano gusto mo? Do you want me to call you Calcal? Or Lulu? Baby? Sugar pie? Honey cream? Barnuts? Anything you want, basta that name is mine as you are" He held his hand as Callum slightly chuckled.
"I'm okay na sa pangalan ko lang" He sighed as they stared at the glass.
"I feel sorry for Jaxx na, Seven is the only family member he is left. Paano na kung bumalik na yung taong homostage sa kanila?" Claudio whispered as Callum's guilt rushed back.
"Yeah, but... I'm sure things will turn around naman" Callum gently smiled as Claudio cupped his cheeks.
"You're my one and only okay? Sana alam mo iyon" Callum says.
"Where is this coming from?" Claudio smirks as he kisses his nose.
"Nothing, I just saw a rom-com that time, I thought it might affect you" He pouted and pecked his lips.
"Well, it was worth a shot. Your cuteness is impossible to ignore" He whispered as they hugged each other.
"I wish things will be okay from then on"
Because Callum wanted things to end right here and mow. For the sake of everyone's peace.
For the sake of Claudio's safety.
Lucas
At this point, I just want to say sorry to everyone around me. Everyone. To my old friends, to my siblings, to Callum, to Claudio. Pero I just didn't have the guts to face them without getting the thought of being neglected. I'm already scared of my own aunt, ano pa yung kinakasama niya sa trabaho.
"Tita tinawag mo ako?" Lucas peeks as a wine glass was placed.
"Olivia isn't here, so I'm the boss muna" A figure stood up as Lucas squinted his eyes.
"You're getting what you want Lucas, we should make a toast" she winks, pouring onto another glass.
"A toast, to yours and my freedom" she winks as Lucas was shocked to see who it was.
"E-Eula..."
