Chapter 9: Callum's birthday burnout

I was excited! I was here! I'm finally turning 26 na! Oh happy years and it's our 3rd anniversary with Eric. Pero nung gumising ako, I realized that his stuff were gone. Pati nga ang closet nakabukas, left open with nothing.

"Eric?" Callum whispered as he peeked outside the door.

"Eric gising..." Callum was frozen of what he witnessed.

Eric was kissing with a woman. They were almost making out.

"What's going on?!" Callum was in the verge of crying.

Gulat ang dalawa and they stood in their positions.

"He should know" The woman says as Eric sigh.

"Anong kailangan kong malaman Eric?! Ano?!" Callum exclaimed.

"Look, Callum" Eric approaches him.

"Don't fucking touch me" Callum's voice croaked.

"The past few months, I... Well, how can I say this?... The past few months wasn't working for me, for us. And, uhh, I spoke to my psychologist and she said that I was..."

"Falling out of love" Callum bitterly says.

"So, is this your saying na you want to break up on me?!" Callum exclaimed.

"Callum you can't be with a man who doesn't love you anymore, and let alone cheated on you behind your back for 5 months" Eric confesses.

So, they dated 5 months behind Callum's back when Callum did everything for Eric just to be happy.

"Naguguilty kasi ako na pabayaan kitang mag-isa, let alone on your first relationship. Pero I'm sorry it had to end like this" Callum couldn't move a muscle after that info.

"Pero we can be friends naman, maybe it's better that way" The woman fixes the bags and clears her throat.

"Aalis kami ng Mandaluyong to start anew in Vigan, you can come if you want-"

"No, I'd... Rather stay here" Callum clenched his fist.

"I promise you you'll find someone better than me Callum, I doubt no person couldn't resist you"

"Did you guys have sex?" Callum suddenly asks.

"W-what?"

"How you said that I was irresistible, it felt like I was open for guys to have sex with" Callum says coldly.

"Is that how you took me sa relasyon natin?" Callum asks.

"Callum-"

"I still remember how many times I refused you because you were either drunk or galit sa trabaho mo and vent your anger through your damn lusts!" Callum exclaimed.

"Callum I was being reasonable..."

"Just answer his question Eric" The woman says as Eric hung his head low.

"Yes, yes we had. The recent one was... Last night" He feels guilty as Callum bit his lip and nod.

"Get out" He whispered.

"But Callum I can't leave you right-"

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE BAGO AKO MAGIISKANDALO DITO" He screamed as Eric just nods and addressed the woman to get his stuffs out.

"And uh Callum"

"Happy birthday "
