So this was Jocasta's goal in simple words: Getting out of this place, coming back to British's mansion.

It was nearly impossible for a single human to achieve that. Although China had allowed Jocasta to wander around the garden these days, he was dead serious about keeping eyes on her. Every move she made, he watched. He even visited her a few times, asking random questions to test her reaction. She wasn't sure if she could fool this man to think she was a helpless woman whose only mission was to stay in her place waiting for rescue.

"I will be straightforward, if you don't mind".

He said.

"You have all the rights, sir".

She replied gently. He only nodded.

"I know you have been here for a while and you're missing your home. I don't want to keep someone whose heart is somewhere so far away…"

"What can I do?"

She asked.

"Writing a letter for your husband may help".

When China offered "writing a letter", he meant: "Telling German Empire to quickly make a deal with Russian Empire". Her Friz would have to give Russian Empire his territories in China, for the Russian's territories would soon be taken back by China. Germany, compared to the other Western nations, already lacked colonies. The deal was a backward move for the German, which could set the whole country on fire. On the other hand, Friz couldn't leave Jocasta. Not mentioning their platonic relationship, he wouldn't let anyone humiliate him by taking away what's his.

The plan seemed perfect, but there was still a gap in it. What if the Western nations could come up with a deal with each other and all facing China?

Jocasta wondered that while doing what she had been told. She wrote to Friz, telling him how much she missed him, as she did once or twice when she was in the British hotel. She was in love with this gentle German, to be sure. She would die for him and knew from the bottom of her heart that he would do exactly the same.

Ironically, to die in this world was much less complicated than to live.

Few days passed and China finally confirmed what Jocasta had been suspecting was right. He told her that he and German Empire had signed a treaty about "Putting down the Mongolian and Boxers rebellions". In other words, China was saying to the girl: "You don't need to be here anymore". "Don't need to be here" didn't sound like: "You're going home" from Jocasta's perspective. China had been treating her way more than good. He showed her respect. And maybe, a little bit of bittifulness, once Jocasta could sense it.

Jocasta chuckled. From the beginning, the plan hadn't included the part of sending her home. That explained why the first few days she was here, China hadn't paid her a visit. He was a secret man. He would keep everything to himself for not ruining his business.

"Please be safe and sound". - Bèi said to Jocasta while some salty tears were falling down her cheeks. - "I will miss you…"

"I'll miss you too. I didn't think that I would find someone like you in this place". - Jocasta held her hands tightly. She secretly looked at the guards standing next to them. - "Tell your brother that I say hello".

Jocasta were escorted by some guards to the main camp, where Mongolian Empire and China were waiting. This was the first time Jocasta saw the captain of the Mongolians. He was huge, so muscular and his eyes were full of threatening. He stood there, glancing at her from the top to the bottom, just like she was a little animal that he had captured.
