Japanese Empire turned to stare at the sky in Peking, where the preceding tremendous battle's smoke and flames had diminished. Whatever transpired, he remained convinced that the devastation of war was gone. In a split second, his memories had transformed, as if the invasion of the Mongol army was merely a dream, and that The Boxers and an alliance of empires had only fought for fifty-five days in reality. Neither a letter of warning from China nor, obviously, a treaty between the German and Russian Empires existed.

Which magic is this? It's different from all the tangible power that national leaders possessed. It controls how reality unfolds and has the ability to create illusions out of it.

JE paid close attention to GE's facial expression as he held the main focal point. He didn't know if this man knew about his fiancée's abilities in advance. Yet it was less significant than the likelihood that other nations would face severe danger if Germany obtained Jocasta since reality could then have to shift to conform to their aspirations. With the exception of evident exhaustion from having just ended a protracted war, the German commander continued to retain his attitude of indifference next to his close friend, the leader of Austria-Hungary, and no longer displayed any other emotion.

"Ok, if nobody's gonna say it, then I am". - SE broke the silence first. He turned to GE. - "Germany cannot have such power; it would jeopardise international peace".

Even opponents like RE or America, as well as Germany's close friend who represented Austria-Hungary, were mute in the sense that they agreed with what the Spanish stated. In the face of such intense pressure, GE just reacted casually.

"In the last meeting, we all agreed that this would be considered at the conference when the China problem had been settled".

The China question has been a complicated subject in the distribution of interests among the empires, and apparently that it was not entirely settled at the most recent summit. For quite a while, SE did not think it was as significant as what they have just observed.

"We should be more realistic that now what we care about is not only China but also the power that your woman holds. The longer we delay in solving the problem, the harder it will be for us to deal with the consequences".

Said SE. It seems that he attempted to corner the German man.

The new GE then turned to look at SE and the other attendees, who were mostly from nations that held views contrary to Germany.

"All of us have just witnessed the evidence that there wouldn't be such huge consequences. Jocasta Madison's ability to simply put things on track, not to change reality".

"How can you make sure of that?"

JE questioned.

Not GE, but the Netherlands, BE's ally, responded to JE's query.

"There is nothing you can do to alter reality. In fact, it can only be disturbed".

"What do you mean?"

"Reality is a string stretched by tiny time points with the smallest unit being the seconds. Jocasta came from another dimension, her appearance in Peking occurred at a time point that interfered with subsequent time periods, resulting in events like the Mongolian Empire's rebirth that shouldn't have happened at this time". - The Dutch paused a few seconds before expressing his rare excitement. - "For hundred years of my lifetime, I have never seen reality be disturbed. It is not something we are capable of".

Everything the Netherlands stated made sense. There were no objections. They did not, however, concur that Jocasta lacked potentially lethal ability. After a contentious debate, the global leaders agreed to revisit the Jocasta Madison matter when the China crisis was resolved. Britain acted much quieter than normal, which was probably a result of the uncertainty that had just entered his mind.
