Jocasta eyed at the German residence’s gate.
She could only see blue.
Lily of the Nile, they were painting this place in the color of the ocean.
German Empire came into the room to inform her that the others had already gone into the meeting room.
“Are you scared?”
German Empire asked while holding her hands gently.
“I’m not a kid, you know”.
Jocasta replied with a childish smile.
The German chuckled and glanced at her. She was wearing a blue dress. This was the first time he realized how much he loved and cherished the colour of his Lily of the Nile, which bloomed every summer outside on the porch.
German Empire walked Jocasta to the room where the other nations were waiting. As the door opened, all eyes concentrated on the girl. Except for those who had seen her, the whole room was flabbergasted.
“This is Jocasta Madison”. - German Empire broke the silence. - “Jocasta, they are the controllers of ten great powers”.
Jocasta was used to meeting important characters back then, so she could act as naturally as German Empire wished.
“It is my honor to meet you gentleman”.
The American smiled, bowed down and kissed the back of her hand. His eyes twinkled in amusement.
“I'm America. Thank you for saving the kid, miss Jocasta”. - He said. - “I’ve always wanted to see you again”.
“I’m France. You’re beautiful as I thought you were”.
France politely did the same.
Jocasta was formally greeted by the ten nations. She ignored the cold and reluctant attitude of Japanese Empire.
"Finally, I can see you in person".
He said and let go of her hand, not wanting to hold it any longer. On the other hand, the Russian, who she had met last night, was pleased by taking every second with her. He whispered:
"Welcome to this drastic world".
There was no sign of ridicule and affectation.
Jocasta didn't question why.
The final greeting came from Spanish Empire. He gave her a complex look. When he turned to German Empire, questioning and anger flashed in his eyes.
The meeting began, with German Empire being the host. He told them that Jocasta had been brought to the Haihe river after a car accident.
"Without her, I would have lost my life".
German Empire said.
"Sorry if I'm being rude, lady, but how can we know that you didn't wait for this German at the river...and that was not a play of yours?"
The Italian asked with doubt.
German Empire didn't let Jocasta answer.
"Because I was the one finding her on the river bank. I was bleeding bad". - He said coldly. - "I pointed my gun at her".
"That's a meaningless question, I dare say". - The American spoke. - "What's the point of acting in such a situation?"
"He has his point. German Empire is a country's commander. Despite not being a Boxer's member, she may be capable of doing something we don't know". - Said the Japanese
