I walked to my car and sped down the road. Moranas' house was miles away. Williams' house was a walk away from their place of work. But I noticed more things about Moranas' life. She drifted away from her family's money. Her schedule was always busy. She seemed to have a recent problem once a day. Her co-founder also was busy, with new clients, hiring new ones, then firing them. With William and me on their good side, we should be able to make their lives less working and more relaxing. I stepped to the door and knocked softly, and when the door swung open, she stood there before me."Mr. Barnes?" She questioned.
"Hello, Ms. Odinson."
I was sitting down on her large cotton couch. She had decorations in her house that filled her personality even more. When she let me enter her obscenely large home, she was shy and let something go onto the little side table. Something small, a cold silver blade, was still on the side table. "Trying to sacrifice something, I see." I chuckled when I walked around her simply dark home.
"I wasn't expecting you to find me or show up. You came out of the blue." She sighed.
Now we're here, sitting across from each other, in silence. She kept her cold beer close to her lips, intimately. Her blue eyes were cold, she hid a truth. She was a small thing, something people shouldn't be hiding from, but feared for sure after hearing she kills people for a living. Her small clothes were showing her sweet skin. On the outside, she was pure and innocent. Anywhere else you'd find a mark from someone. "How did you get that scar on your thigh, Ms. Odinson?" I asked her. It seemed unprofessional that I was staring at her thighs, but I couldn't get enough of her.
"A man stabbed me, trying to find life left in his body." She smiled. She rubbed her scar and looked out of one of her vast windows.
"Why didn't you send someone for you?"
"Why would I ruin the fun for me, Mr. Barnes?" She took a sip of her drink and her eyes wandered. "When did you get married?"
"Never was, just wore my fathers on my left. He passed away when I was young." I sighed.
"I'm sorry, every boy needs a father. Or a father figure." Her serious expression softens.
"My mother raised me, taught me how to respect women to an extent." I smiled.
"Well, she raised a very intelligent man. Your wife should say thank you." She chuckled.
"Oh, my wife now? Well I'd be delighted to have a wife," I smiled at her. Her cheeks turned bright red, as she scanned my body. I'd be lying saying I wasn't scanning hers either. Something about her petite figure was just cute. She could curl in a ball or wear clothes a bit too big on her and every man and woman would be down on their knees. "Especially if my wife was you," I whispered.
