Morana sat across from William. The tension between them had Quinn and I in a chokehold.

Morana had her arms across her breasts and she had her legs crossed as well. Morana held her head high. Her eyes were cold, leaving them to look hollow and dead.

William on the other hand was shaking. He had his hands folded in his lap and he was man-spreading; what a professional he is. His eyes were full of dread and worry. His pupils were blown out and his mouth hung open. I was just waiting for a fly to fly in there.

“Will you two fucking talk? I feel like the air is thicker,” Quinn complained, standing behind the chair she was supposed to be sitting in. If someone was standing everyone’s anxeity rised. No one could stand it.

“Quinn, sit down,” William said.

“Not until you apologize, you hurt her,” Quinn groaned. “Did you think it was a good idea to chuck the remote at her?”

“I wasn’t thinking-”

“You never do,” Morana muttered.

“You don’t like to think either Morana. Taking Ivan by yourself, and then standing up to someone who-”

“Yes, I did think all of that through William. I just react on impulse and instinct,” she argued. “And don’t bring up Ivan, I did that to protect you.”

“And yet, you didn’t protect yourself!” he yelled. “You never do, and you never will. Grow the fuck up and take care of yourself, before someone else for once.”

“I took care of myself when we were dating and you didn’t like it,” she groaned.

“We were 12!” he shouted. “Morana, I do care. You’re my fiances best fucking friend and you’re about to be married to my best friend. If I knew that the remote would do that, I wouldn’t have thrown it. I’m sorry.”

“That’s all I wanted,” Morana said, walking over to him and wrapping her arms around him. “Was that so difficult?”

“No,” he answered, wrapping her up in their hug. “I’m sorry Morana.”

“I forgive you William,” she said. “And don’t ever do something stupid like that again.”

“I’m sorry,” he repeated. “You shouldn’t be doing stupid stuff like fighting.”

“That’s something, I will always do,” she smirked. “What do you want me to do? Try for kids?”

“Yes, cause I want to be that fun uncle,” He laughed. “You can always adopt.”

“I’m bringing a kid into this shit-hole of a planet,” she stated.
