I want out of this hell. I feel like I’m in hell, if hell was an actual place. I had my worse enemy, Alapecca. He and I have never had a good encounter. First, he tried to take over my company. Next, he insulted Morana. Now, he’s begging for money.

He talked nonsense. His company was failing. How was it my fault? It was most likely his way of grieving for Billy. He loved Billy. Billy was our mutual friend until I found out Billy abused my Morana.

“Listen, Alapecca, I don’t understand why your money issues are mine. I don’t get why-” she laughed, as she started walking into my office. Quinn followed as Morana opened the door.

“Hey, baby… fuck.”

“Oh, shit.” I was in the middle of a conference with someone. No one stops my meetings but Morana. She’s my love. She’s also my boss. I pointed at the pathetic man in front of me. “Alapecca, don’t say shit.”

“So the article is right? And I was right too,” he disobeyed my order. He means the bullshit lies about Morana.

“The only fact in that whole damn paper is that she will be my wife. Yes, doll?” I questioned. “You have a baby, that’s not ours?” Did she have a kid that I didn’t know existed? Did Quinn have a kid?

“Yeah, it’s my brothers. Can you watch him until I get back?” she asked. She looked beautiful with a baby in her arms. It was natural for her. Though it was her brothers, I would still hang out with my nephew.

“A baby should not be in this field.” the poor bastard stated.

“So then you don’t belong either,” Morana sighed. Her glare was deadly. Something not to fuck with. “Please Bucky, Jr dropped Casey off and you know..”

I looked at the calendar today. She also reminded me during our workout. She didn’t need to remind me of next occurring event. Her body speaks for her.

On days like this, she’s quiet and numb. It’s the only thing that scares me. I know that if she’s hurt, she won’t tell me.

“Yeah, bring him here.” I opened my arms. I was giddy, and always had a smile on my face. Casey, our nephew, had these bright blue eyes, just like his personality. His hair was long and dark. He looks a lot like his aunt. “He’ll be safe with me, okay?” I kissed Morana’s forehead. “Now go get that money. Good luck Quinn.” I had Casey’s hand in mine and he waved at Morana.

Casey was a calm baby. He always had a smile on his face. He was the happiest I’ve ever met. Casey reminds me a lot of my younger brother. I love that. Casey has every that Morana has. The light eyes, dark hair, amazing. Every attribute that Morana had was also his.

“Thanks, Buck,” Quinn smiled. “Let’s go Morana,” she grabbed her shoulders, yet Morana pulled back.

“Bucky, you’re interviewing your sister and Peggy, and don’t be an asshole to your sister either, ‘cause I will fire you,” Morana threatened before Quinn could pull her back.

“Let’s get out of here, later Buck,” she waved, hauling Morana, but her shoes were extra grippy.

“Doll, go, it’s alright,” I said, reassuringly. Her worried eyes were glossy. I don’t have a clue why she’d want to do this. Quinn pestered her enough about it.She talked to him, and I made a jokes. The only thing I told her truthfully was, “You’re a natural doll,”. If I lied to her in that moment, the Devil himself would have punished me, while his brothers and sisters would’ve kept Morana safe. Though, they she would beg for mercy, it would hurt her even more to see me hurt.

She handed him to me so she could make him a bottle. While I held him, I said, “Hey little man, I’m Bucky you know the guy your amazing aunt introduced to you. I understand you’re young, like maybe a month or two but find someone like your aunt. Someone who’s independent, can tolerate a lot, intelligent, and someone who knows how to love the broken.” That’s how I felt with Morana. I could hear her talking to her dad then.
