𝗧here was a small town located in Gordgûl, it was surrounded by a massive River, few houses were located on that island, mainly made of wood and hay, there was a few farmers, blacksmiths, and villagers as they roamed the place.
There once lived a boy, he was aged eighteen, he was a farm boy who worked for his Uncle as he fed the animals, took chunks of hay out of the ranch as he put them in the local barn a few yards ahead.
That boy was Axel Robbins, he was a young hero in training as he didn't know what his powers were, he didn't know what he served for in life, he thought he was useless, but he still made his family happy.
Unfortunately, for him, his parents died when he was ten, as they were attacked by a Feroxera, a gigantic species, a mix between a snake and a dragon, they usually lived in caves and dunegons.
Ever since, Axel lived with his Uncle, Gael Robbins, as Gael crowned him as "heir" and shall inherit his things when the man dies."Axel!" Gael shouted. "Axel, come here, boy."
Axel ran through the villagers, he slowed down as he approached Gael's door, "Yes, Uncle?"
"Today's your Eighteenth birthday. Happy Birthday!" he hugged Axel. "And i've got you a present."
Gael ran inside as Axel slowly followed him in, wondering what the present is as Gael ran through his belongings, eventually finding the letter he was given when Axel was born, giving it to him, "Here you go."
Axel slowly opened up the envelope as he was invited to this secret school by Reven the Radiant Wizard, with him moving around on it, pointing at the words written on it.
Axel read the Envelope, "Mr. Axel Robbins, of the River, i invite you to the upcoming Entrance Exam of..." he turned to Gael. "This year?"
Gael nodded, as Axel started smiling, saying, "This is brilliant! I finally have a chance to do something!"
"See. I knew you'd like it, hey, i'll pack your stuff up for you."
"Alright," Axel said, still smiling as he reread the envelope a few times, as a few hours later Gael finally packed up all his stuff.
"Alright, here you go," Gael said, giving the suitcase to Axel as Axel slowly put his left hand on the handle.
Gael started having second thoughts about this whole thing, as he blurted out to Axel, "Are you sure your ready for this?"
"What?" Axel asked. "What do you mean?"
"I mean..." Gael said, playing with his hands. "I was skeptical myself at first, when Reven offered me to send you to him, you haven't had a real fighting experience... and who knows what will happen this year, are you sure your ready?"
Axel smiled, as he patted Gael on his right shoulder. "You don't have to worry about me anymore," he said. "I'm a grown man now, i can take care of myself."
Axel put his suitcase on the boat as he slowly climbed in, waving at Gael as he started rowing off, into the wild land.
Gael sighed, and murmured, "Just be careful, Axel."2 is soon!
