4. Entrance Exam

𝗜t reached the next morning, Axel stayed at Oliver's house, where he'd notice that his family would always be wearing pants, even if it was warm, they'd still be wearing pants.
Axel didn't question this, however, he was just glad he got to stay with his friend, as he hadn't seen him for a bit ever since the last summer, but that didn't matter now.
He grabbed his backpack as he put the left strap on his right shoulder, turning towards the bathroom, which Oliver was in, and asked, "Are you ready yet?"
"Just a second!" Oliver shouted, the door slightly open as He could be seen through the blurry glass, he was against the wall and grabbed a pair of blue jeans as he dashed out of the Bathroom, holding his crutches and swinging towards Axel.
"Yeah, i'm ready," Oliver said. "lets do this thing."
"Are you boys ready?" Miranda, the mother, asked, as she was standing below from the stairs.
Oliver looked down, "Yeah, we're ready!" and went into the nearby elevator, Axel walked down the steps, as Miranda walked back into the Living Room.
Oliver met with Axel in the hallways as Oliver opened the door for him, with Axel stepping out first as Miranda shouted, "Stay safe!"
Oliver shouted back, "We will, ma!"

The Two Boys had walked up the road as they made their way into the crowded city, people holding weapons as they had medieval-ish clothes, some were stepping out stores, some were selling items, et cetera.
Axel and Oliver walked through the nearby Market, where Oliver saw that a small blade was for sale, so he bought it with the coins that he got.
"Why'd you need that?" Axel asked.
"Just incase," Oliver said. "I am disabled, afterall."
Axel nodded, as they continued walking, it took them half n hour to make it to the entrance arena, where it seemed rather empty, with only a few people sitting down.
A lady approached them, "Are you a participant for the Entrance Exam?"
"Oh, uh, yeah," Oliver said. "you know where we're supposed to go?"
"Over there, in that room right there," she pointed, as Axel nodded, walking past the woman as the Two Boys made it to the room.
Axel opened the door as he saw people in there, seventeen boys and maybe twenty girls.

Axel and Oliver exchanged weird looks at eachother as they slowly stepped inside, everyone seemed to be spaced out.
Axel looked around, as he saw people like Harry Mazioto, who had his hood up (which was white) and people like Den Alvarez and Finn Marcus, who seemed to be friends as they were standing next to eachother.
A girl had walked in, her name was Cloud Jones-Batson, but she went by CJ, she wore a green jacket, red crop top, along with black leggings and shoes.
Two more people had walked in, they were men, as the big, buff guy, maybe nineteen or twenty, was Nolan Noble, along with his companion, Ray John.
"Huh, never seen him before," Harry said, which caught Axel and Oliver's attention.
"You know those two?" Oliver asked, which Harry nodded to.
"Sadly," his eyes turned towards the two boys, still leaning against the wall. "name's Harry, you?"
Axel glanced at Oliver, and then turned back to Harry. "Axel, and this is Oliver."
"Right - just call me Ghost," he said, as Reven walked into the Room, looking at all the contestants.
"The Contest will shortly begin soon," he said. "there will be three stages, the first stage - is a game of Tag."
Tag?! Axel thought. We're here to be Heroes, this isn't some playground!
Axel was about to object, but then Reven walked out along with everyone else, and Axel walked out with Oliver shortly after.
They both exchanged looks, before Axel finally broke the silence, "Lets just hope neither of us are it."
Oliver nodded at Axel, as they approached the apartment building everyone was walking into, and then they walked into the nearest Elevator.
And then the Elevator went up.
