16. The Cunning Casino

𝗧hey walked through the doors, a mix of red, green, yellow lights were in their eyes as a TV on the wall would say: ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴜɴɴɪɴɢ ᴄᴀsɪɴᴏ.
“Cunning Casino..?” Axel asked, although the waiter must've left them by now.
People every second were walking into the Casino, as Axel turned to the others, and asked; “Okay. Where the hell are we?”
“Who cares?” Oliver asked. “this place is officially dope!”
Ghost looked around, not saying a word as his white hood was still up, covering a large amount of his cyan hair as they walked through the crowds, catching sight of a car with a sign that said: ᴡɪɴ ᴛʜɪs ᴄᴀʀ ᴡɪᴛʜ 3 ʀᴏʟʟs!!!
Oliver catched sight of it. “Hey, we can get that car y'know, it looks useful!”
“We're not here to gamble.” Axel responded sharply.
“Then why are we here?” CJ asked him.
Axel didn't answer, as he saw the dark cloaked man again, holding the green gem which seemed to be flashing in his eyes, saying words which seemed demonic.
They walked through more crowds, as another waiter approached them, asking: “Get your free coupon! Stay as long as you want!”
CJ smiled awkwardly, “Thanks, but we're not staying.”
“Please, we insist!” the Waiter objected.
Axel put his arm up, saying, “Don't con us, we're not checking in.”
Oliver looked at Axel. “Okay, he was persistent.”
“Yeah!” Axel agreed, as they seemed to be exiting a quarter of the building as they approached a waterfall, with water going up and down, like a ride. “We're here for one thing, and one thing..” he catched sight of the theme park ahead. “only.”

They were all shocked.
“Wow,” CJ said, breaking the silence.
“That is really awesome!” Axel exclaimed in amazement, before he looked around as Oliver catched sight of a table full of what appeared to be a pink plant with green leaves on top.
Oliver said, “That looks tasty,” he licked his lips, and looked at the others, who seemed to didn't care. “i'm getting one.”
He sneaked off as Axel and CJ were still looking at the Rollercoaster, with Ghost behind them.
I know this place is fun, Axel thought. But we're here for one thing — that man, in the dark cloak, holding that green gem — he's suspicious, he's onto me, I can tell—
Oliver came back with what appeared to be a pink plant, as Ghost catched sight of him eating it, and asked, “What's that?”
Oliver glanced at him. “This, my friend. Is a Canny Plant.”
“It comes in Cannons?” Ghost confusingly asked, which caught Axel and CJ's attention as they turned around, before Ghost looked at the table with the Plants, before saying, “I'm getting one.”
He elegantly squeezed his body past Axel and Oliver as the Trio followed Ghost, approaching the table as it was full of Pink Plants.
Axel picked up one. “This feels strange,” he turned to Oliver, who was finishing up his Plant. “are we supposed to eat these?”
Oliver nodded, before Axel looked into the Plant, his eyes becoming hypnotized as he opened his mouth slowly.

And then he ate a huge portion of the Plant, as he looked at the others and said: “This is good.”
Ghost nodded as he ate his Plant, which Axel assumed was his second bite, with a “Mmm...” coming from CJ as she ate the Plant.
Suddenly, Axel noticed that everything around him was starting to become blurry, with fades of the colors purple and red were circling around the group, as the others seemed to notice this, and then they looked at eachother.
“This...” Axel paused, before finishing, “is really good.”
“Yeah!” Ghost said, in a high pitched voice, sounding like a ten year old child.
“You're right,” CJ smiled, slowly nodding her head. “this is good.”
Oliver started making goat noises, although he was nothing like a goat, as his legs were more deer like than goat.
CJ declared, “Lets stay here!”
“Yeah!” Axel agreed. “lets never leave! Lets stay here!”
And they all started chuckling, as they ran into the Main Casino, where all the games were at.
