25. One Staff, One Zap

𝗪hen Axel's vision got clearer, he looked around, and saw his friends.
But, they looked as confused as he was, with beams being flashed in the background, and the ground shaking, Oliver was infront of him, kneeling.
He just stared at Axel though, which got him uncomfortable as Axel slowly turned to his left, and saw CJ, Archie, Liam, and Alzaro, with Ghost's pale body laying on the stone wall, huddled up in his hoodie like he was freezing cold.
And then, looking behind him, above the Stone Wall, he saw Reven and Silver clashing with Swords, with Reven's sword glowing a red aura and Silver's glowing a black aura.
And then, he noticed his right hand was closed, and he slowly opened it, with a shining gem flashing in Axel's face.
It was the Holy Emerald.
“Quick! Hide it, quick!” Oliver begged, taking the Gem out of his hand and shoving it into Axel's backpack, which was already open as it was dangling on Axel's left shoulder.
Axel looked around, and caught sight of Reven's Staff, with the bulb flashing, but it wasn't a massive flash, and Axel slid the bag off his shoulder, saying, “Guard it.”
Oliver looked at Axel, as Axel slowly crouched out of the cover, with Oliver's face slowly getting horrified with CJ whispering, “Get back, you damn idiot!”

But Axel didn't listen.
Instead, he crouched to it more, reaching out for the Staff.
And then, he heard the sinister voice, as Silver barked: “OH! How bittersweet to help your master when he's in danger!”
He swung his wand in a direction, with the lightning bolts hitting the stone walls, causing a few cracks, as the bolts hit Axel's back, him being sent to the wall stomach first.
“AXEL!” Oliver and Reven shouted at the first time, with CJ's jaw dropped, along with the others.
Axel slowly fell down, with steam coming out of his red cape as he laid next to Reven's Staff, with Reven kicking Silver away as he ran to Axel, checking if he was okay.
“Luckily, he still has a pulse,” Reven said, as he examined the body, before raising his sword again and throwing it at Silver, as it seemed to graze Silver's stomach, with blood being spewed out as Silver went backwards.
Reven started walking away from the body, as he dived over Silver's lightning bolt, grabbing the sword and started blocking the zaps, which got Silver pissed as he kept trying too hard, even starting to sweat.
Axel laid there, but soon, he started to wake up, his vision was now blurry again, but he could see Reven was in a defense position, raising his sword as Silver's Zaps did nothing.
Axel noticed his fingers were touching the staff, as he slowly got up, the pain in his body sparked, but he didn't care as he slowly leant against the wall.
And then suddenly, a light beam flew across the room, directly hitting Silver as even Reven seemed confused, and then he looked behind him.
Axel Robbins was standing there, with blood going down his cheek (which came from a cut) and he was holding the Staff in both of his hands, with the light flashing at Silver, as he seemed to be unconscious.
“Don't even think about it.” Axel said.
