26. The Secret Door

𝗘veryone was shocked, they all stared at Axel as he held the Staff in both of his hands, aiming at Silver like it was a rocket launcher.
“Don't move.” Axel said quietly.
Reven raised his hand. “Ax—”
“I SAID DON'T MOVE.”
Axel slowly stepped closer to Silver as he slowly got up, still holding his dark wand in his hand as he slammed himself to the wall, pushing himself up.
Axel stepped closer more, with Silver noticing this, as he dived forwards, now on his right knee, and aimed it at Axel, who was stunned.
“I don't know what you did,” he said quietly. “but that blast was not funny.”
Axel was silent.
Silver smirked. “Tricked you,” he said. “really thought i was gonna surrender?”
He took out his Wand and shot a lightning bolt, as Axel instinctively raised the staff, deflecting the strike as it bounced on the walls, destroying a ton of rocks as they fell above Axel and Silver, who covered their heads.
“AXEL!” Oliver shouted.
But Axel couldn't hear him, especially with the rocks slamming onto the ground, and the walls tearing apart, Axel thought he went deaf.
And then, he saw Silver, as he slowly opened his eyes, and leant towards the man.

He had grabbed the wand, Silver quickly noticed, as he held it back, and now they were fighting over it for a few moments, where Axel kicked him to the ground and shot out of the wand.
The Strike hit the rocks, causing it to hit the other side of the wall, as they made a Thud! sound again, with Axel turning around.
He saw an italian maple wall with a wooden door, which was slowly opened, and Silver had got up again, hearing a snapping sound.
A few moments before, Axel had snapped Silver's wand, and threw the remains to the ground, with Silver kneeling down, grieving over it.
Axel picked up the heavy staff as Silver got mad, and then charged at Axel, with Oliver running to his aid.
Axel, luckily, turned around in time as he shot another beam at Silver, causing him to slam into the wall again.
“Get through the door!” Reven yelled, as Axel ran out first, followed by the other teens, with the adults behind.
Silver took out a sharp blade as he chased after the group, with Reven guarding them as Axel tossed him his wand, shooting more beams at Silver.
But Silver was concentrated, he kept dodging the sparkling beams and kicked Reven, as he flipped his blade again, but Reven moved away in time.

They now ran over a bridge, which had a massive pit over them, which led to nothing but darkness, it looked cramped too (“Jeez, look at the size of that thing!” Archie pointed out).
Unfortunately, they came across a gate, with Alzaro jumping infront as he sorted out the code, with Silver now at the bridge entrance as he looked at the others.
“ABBASSATE IL PONTE, SIATE SICURI!” Reven said, as the remains of the bridge infront of him collapsed, it was impossible to get to them now.
Reven slowly moved infront of the others, as Silver took out a whip, which looked like it was made out of pure dark energy, as it looked like it was about to hit Liam, who raised his bow, but no...
It hit Reven, as he dropped his weapons, his Staff and Sword falling into the pit as he leant forwards, but luckily, Axel grabbed his wrist in time, with Alzaro and Oliver holding him back.
“Grrrgh!” Oliver grunted.
“REVEN!” Axel shouted, as his arm was still onto Reven, with a defeated, but faint smile on the old man's face, as he looked into Axel's face.
“Guard the Emerald well.”
And then, Reven Steel fell. Long Live the Legend.
