"Ugh, this stupid wifi! Fuck this..." I groan as my zoom meeting fails to load once again, I close the lid and fold my arms. I'm tapped over the back of my head by jay as he strolls past me, "excuse me?" He raises an eyebrow, "sorry" I grumble. He shakes his head, "don't ever let me hear you say that again" he warns as he throws an empty bottle of water into the bin. I nod, "what's the problem anyways?" He sighs and leans on the table. I shrug, "the wifi won't work, I can't get onto my zoom classes" I narrow my eyes at the computer. He nods, "so ask for help, don't lose your temper" he carries my computer over to the Broadband box. He fetches my computer back to me with the loading screen for the zoom call I'm meant to be on, "Easy as that" he sighs before leaving the room. I nod, "thanks" I grumble in return.

"Arghhhhhhhh!" I groan as I try to grab a pan from the top shelf. I jump up and knock the pan with my hand, feeling the side of it topple towards me. I step back as it falls to the ground with a clatter, "well shit" I huff, not noticing an extra pair of feet stood in the doorway. Jay sighs, "language, Imogen. How many times have I got to tell you?" He grabs the pan from my hands. I gasp at his action, "is there really any need to use such foul language like you do?" He enquires, sounding rather annoyed with me, like usual... I shrug, "I learned it from someone" I protest. I mean, hey! He's the one who walks around like an 18+ version of the dictionary.
He turns around with a glint in his eye, and it's not a good glint either. I sigh, "m'sorry..." I keep my head down. He hands me what I came in here to get, "this has to stop immy, you're fourteen not twenty-one" he shakes his head as he leaves me be. What a hypocrite...

"This is taking the absolute piss!" I mutter as I stand in front of the air fryer, impatiently waiting for my chicken nuggets. I wince as I hear will clear his throat behind me, "jay already told me that he's on your back about your swearing problem, yet you still don't listen..." he sighs. I shrug, "can't help it" I turn around. He scoffs a laugh, "what'd you mean you can't help it? It's simple. Just keep your mouth closed" he shakes his head. I sigh but shrug, before I'm interrupted by the beeping, "your chicken nuggets are ready" he points out. I internally roll my eyes, no shit...

"What about Friday?" Jay enquires. I shrug as I bite into my steak, "yeah, I'm free" I confirm. Jay nods, "alright" he takes a sip from his beer. I grab the knife and continue cutting into my steak, why's it so damn tough?! I must've been holding the knife in the wrong way since it clatters to the floor from me trying so hard to cut it, "oh sh-sugar..." I correct myself. When I sit back up I see my brothers staring at me, however they're both smirking, "well I didn't swear..." I shrug. Jay sighs at my answer, suck on that brother...
