Wills POV

"Hey, where's stink?" I walk into the kitchen, after getting home from a double shift in the ER.  Jay sighs, "sat by the back door" he rolls his eyes.  I shake my head in confusion, "what?" I frown.  He nods, "go see for yourself" he repeats himself with a sigh.  I frown before walking out of the kitchen and towards the back door.

Low and behold... our four year old sister is sat by the back door, staring out of the window with her shoes and jacket on along with a backpack.  Her arms are folded and she doesn't seem to care about my presence, "hey stink bug, what're you doing?" I raise my eyebrows.  She huffs dramatically, "I'm running away" she tuts.  I nod, "right, and why are you running away?" I enquire.  She shrugs, "jay won't let me have ice cream before dinner" she huffs angrily.  I smirk ever so slightly, "okay... but how are you running away when you're sat at the door?" I nod.  She stands up, "I'm waiting for piggy" she shakes her head.

"Where's piggy?" I shake my head, trying to hold my laughter in.  She stomps her foot on the ground, "jay put him in the washing machine..." she twines.  I nod, "well, how about you wait here and I'll fetch you piggy when he's dry? I'll go have a word with jay, is that a deal?" I crouch down.  She nods, keeping her head away from me, "okay" I sigh as I stand back up.  I smirk to myself as I walk back into the kitchen, "totally normal" I chuckle.  Jay rolls his eyes, "she's been sat there for half an hour" he shakes his head.

"Why's piggy in the wash? I washed him last week..." I shake my head.  Jay raised an eyebrow, "I had to keep her inside the house somehow, I turned my back for two seconds earlier... two seconds, and she escaped the house" he huffs.  I nod, "fair enough" I snicker.

"Okay... c'mon, dinners ready Imogen!" I shout into the hallway, "no!" She yells back.  I roll my eyes, "c'mon, you need to eat!" I yell back.  She stomps her way to the kitchen, "I don't want it, I want to go to Haileys house" she folds her arms.  Jay nods, "hailey doesn't have any ice cream, which is why you need to eat your dinner before you can have dessert" he shrugs.  Imogen looks down, thinking about it, before stomping back to the door.  I shake my head, "leave her be, she'll soon get hungry" I shrug, sitting down in front of my dinner.

"Will..." Imogen runs to me with piggy in her hands, and tears streaming down her face.  I frown, "what's wrong?" I sigh, picking her up to set her down on my knee.  She slams her face into my shoulder, "I don't wanna' run away" she sobs.  Jay smirks, "so you're gonna' eat your dinner, like a big girl?" He enquires.  Imogen nods, letting out a dramatic sob, "I will!" She squeals.  Jay nods, "okay, okay..." he sighs.  I smile, "you love us that much, huh?" I poke her side.  She giggled before sighing tiredly, "yeah..." she yawns. Kids...
