Chapter 33

Leo pov
As his hands went into my hair, I knew I had lost. I wanted to try and stay away from him. I never wanted to see him again especially after what happened. He was toxic. Intoxicating and I felt suffocated every time I was near him.

But my body was on fire whenever I am near him. I can't stay away.

His back hit the door as his lips moved with mine. The urge to touch him but I held myself back. I had some morals. His hands gripped at my hair.

"Raven..." I whispered against his lips. His eyes flickered open and he stared up at me.

"Don't. Please don't ruin this right now. I just-I-" He stuttered. I've never seen Raven nervous before. He's usually confident. Cocky. It was unusual but cute.

"Raven-" I said again. His eyes opened and he looked back up at me. His hands had gone and placed themselves on my shoulders. He had pulled me close to him. Holding me right where I was. Part of me never wants to leave.

"You gonna tell me I'm pathetic." He whispered against me. His eyes searching mine. He was vulnerable. I was too. I never wanted to take advantage of him.

"Let me-"

"Go ahead Leo. Speak." He answered calmly.

"I-I want you Raven. Come with me...please." I muttered. I was pathetic. I was the pathetic one. I was asking Raven to come with me and just spend time. Something was extremely wrong with me.

"Just-Just for the day." I told him quickly. I saw that look in his eyes. He was nervous, scared even. Maybe he thought I was joking with him. Thinking that I was going to humiliate him. I took my hands off his waist and placed them on his shoulder.

I stared into his beautiful eyes.

"Just for the day?" He questioned softly. I nodded quickly before realizing that I should speak.

"Just for the day." I confirmed. He gulped before nodding at me.

"Okay." He whispered. I won't let him down. I thought to myself before taking his hands. I brought him to my car and we both got in. It was awkward at first but there wasn't much I could do about that.

We reached the mall and all I wanted to do was go shopping. I brought him inside and kinda did a movement with my hands.

"Here we are..." I stated awkwardly. I saw him look down and smile a little. It made me happy to know that I could still make him smile.

"Where so you wanna go first?" I asked. He looked around for a few moments.

"We need to clean you up. You're a disaster my friend- Leo. You are a disaster Leo." God, I wished he wouldn't of corrected himself. I could see the slight embarrassment on his face but he ignored it.

"We need to clean you up. You look terrible." He told me. I laughed lightly. My eyes scoured the floor for a quick second before I met his again.

"Let's go then. Don't wanna waste any time." He told me. His eyes held amusement and I almost let myself smile. Before I remembered why I had brought him here. God, I wanted to kiss him again. Feel his lips against mine. The way he hungrily craved me. The way I hungrily crave him. I shook away those thoughts. You know what to do. You know it needs to be done. I took a deep breath before I forced myself to follow him up the stairs and into a store.

The store was covered with hoodies and all shirts you can wear. It was nice. Beautiful even. I glanced around uncomfortably as I realized Raven wasn't with me anymore. He came barging out of the dressing room with suspenders and no shirt on underneath.

I burst out laughing as he did a little spin for me. I didn't care how loud I was being or if I was drawing attention, I was too busy having fun. When I regained composure I looked back at him. He had a small blush on his cheeks.

"What do ya think?" He asked, giving me another spin. I walked towards him and lightly grabbed the suspended straps. Using them to pull him close to me. He put his hands on my chest to stop himself from falling into me.

"I think you should buy it." I told him. He gave me another smile, this one wasn't as shy as the last one.

"I didn't see you as a shy person." I told him softly. His eyes darkened and I could sense I said the wrong thing.

"I'm not. But you giving me public affection when we aren't together is enough for me to be bashful." Pursing my lips I looked down. I could hear the anger behind his voice. I wasn't shocked or mad about it. It was expected.

"Raven I-" I tried hut he cut me off quickly. He pulled away from me and put his hands on his hips.

"I'm going to get changed. We'll find something for you to wear." He told me. He walked back into the changing room, leaving me to my thoughts as I waited for him. He walked back out and threw his hat on as he approached me. He had his hands hanging from his front pockets and he looked better than before. God, I wanna kiss him so bad.

So bad. But I held back the urge and I followed him as he was picking out clothes for me. He finally picked out a random navy blue button up. I gave him a questionable look the whole time he was figuring out my outfit.

"Jesus Christ, Raven are you sure about-"

"Shhhh, trust the process." He explained calmly. Before he grabbed a pair of black jeans and a couple pairs of shoes. My eyes widened as I watched hik frantically run around the store, grabbing every button up shirt there is too exist.

"Raven-" I tried to say but he ignored me wry time.

"Raven!" I called again but there was no answer.

"Goddamnit- OH MY GOD!" I shouted as I turned around and there he was. He had a couple hangers in his mouth with clothes on them. He had so many clothes. He beckoned me with his head to follow him to the changing room. I hesitantly followed behind. When we walked in he closed and locked the door. The tiny space felt so cramped but hey- Atleast I was close to him.

"Raven-"

"Okay, so I got all the clothes that I think would look fantastic in you! So I'm going to sort combinations and your going to try them on! Do a little fashion show for me!" He stated excitedly. I wanted to argue with him but I didn't say anything. He looked so happy. I couldn't ruin that for him.

A few minutes later he had everything sorted and he was standing beside the door. Holding one of the combinations up to the light to try and see.

"Raven I'm telling you it looks fine. Let me just try it on. We've been in here for like 2 hours." I groaned. He rolled his eyes at me but I saw a smile on his lips.

"You are annoying." I hissed at him. Crossing my arms over my chest he handed me the first combination. He had a look of excitement.

"You are going to look fantastic, I just know it! Well obviously you already always do look fantastic but I mean-" My eyes widened and I snapped my head to look at him. He gave a small nervous chuckle before slowly backing towards the door.

"Did I say that out loud?" He questioned. I nodded my head quickly.

"Right...well let's do it! Hurry up!" He called as the door shut behind him and I was stuck in there. A clothing pair in one hand, a imaginary spear in the other aimed for my heart.
