Leo pov
I couldn't lie and say I didn't enjoy the way raven got irritated at my wording. It almost made me laugh the way he clenched the steering wheel. The blush on his face surprised me.

I still have an effect on him. It felt victorious to know he still reacted to me speaking. I laughed under my breath. Hoping to ease the anxiety I felt.

5 minutes later.
We are here.
We are here.
"We're here." Raven muttered before climbing out of the car and opening the back seat to wake little Kelly. While I sat silently staring infront of me. Ropos house wasn't big, it was moderate but the fact that he held my kids inside made me stop. Everything i wanted to do up till this moment froze in my brain.

"Leo." My name was being called and I just barley turned my head to the side to see raven had opened my door. His eyes were wary as he watched me.

"Come on." We walked up to the front door and raven didn't even knock he just opened it.

"Ropo! Jack!" He shouted hntil little Kelly slapped him on the back of the head.

"What if the kids are sleeping!?" She whispered shouted at him. Some form of guilt filled his face for a small second.

"They aren't." A voice sounded. All of our heads turned and we saw Jack standing at the top of the stairs. He looked exhausted and honestly really not...jack like.

"What happened to you?" Raven commented as he went up and touched jacks shoulder.

"Star happened." He muttered. That's when the crying came into our ears. Jack rolled his eyes and leaned his head back and groaned. There was  clatter then silence.

"Ropo!" Jack shouted.

"I'm okay!" He sounded distant. Raven glared at Jack before pushing past him and walking up the stairs. I almost spoke to Jack before I remembered he definitely knew what had happened. Raven definitely would've told him. I walked up after little Kelly and we saw raven holding star and she immediately calmed down in his arms. The boy was sitting on the floor staring at all of us.

Holy shit I don't even know his name.

"Leo." Little Kelly whispered touching my shoulder. She gave me a push forward towards raven.

This isn't going to go well. But I gave in and walked up to him and star. They both stared at me as I approached. I didn't reach out to hold her, just based off of ravens stare he wouldn't of liked it. So I reached one hand out and she eagerly grabbed my hand. Staring into my eyes, I wanted to speak. Or say anything but no words could come out.

I missed so much of there lofe because of my own things.

I killed there mother.

In a hurry I took my hand away and walked down the stairs. I could hear little Kelly call my name but I ignored her. I walked right back to the car and opened the trunk. I sat inside, letting my legs dangle. My eyes were closed as I tried to breathe carefully.

When I heard someone.

Raven pov
I wasted no time. It's a back and forth cycle between Leo and I. Frankly I didn't care right now. I just needed to comfort him. That was stronger than any other hateful feeling I might have. Handing star off to little Kelly, I walked no- ran down the stairs and outside.

It wasn't hard to spot his ginger hair sitting in the trunk of my car.

"What was that?" I asked, harsher than I intended. He shrugged at me, not in the mood to talk.

"Leo-"

"Go back inside raven. Star needs you." He said the last line with a sort of jealousy.

Oh, that's what this is about.

"You're jealous."

"What?" I watched his head come up and stared at me. Leaning against my car I said.

"You're jealous that star has known me longer than she has known you. You're jealous that star needs me and not you. You're jealous."

"I'm not." He snapped. Raising an eyebrow I watched him closely.

"Okay, what was that then?"

"It was nothing."

"We both know I don't believe that. So tell me."

"Why should I tell you? We broke up. You hate me." He stated the facts but honestly- I hate facts. Opinions are more my thing.

"Okay well I'm the only one who bothered to follow you so you might want to tell me."

"I'm not telling you anything."

"Okay." He watched me cautiously as I hopped in the trunk with him. Leaning on my elbows and letting my legs dangle i stared at the top of the car.

"What are you doing?"

"Sitting."

"What Are we doing?" His question caused me to look towards him. Curiosity but hurt was evident in his eyes.

This- this thing I was doing by following him out here. This was hurting him. The thought that he can't touch me to calm himself. He can't reach over and touch my hand. He can't be open with me.

Never in my life would I think my presence would be the thing that hurts him.

"Leo." He shook his head at me. He refused to make eye contact.

"Leo, look at me. Please." I added. His arms crossed over his chest. I pushed myself to sit and I grabbed his shoulder.

"We will find out what happened. You will spend time with your kids. They need there father."

"They think your there father." He snapped once again.

"No, no they don't." I whispered. Leaning back against the car wall. He eyed me.

"What do you mean?"

"It's just a kid sense I guess but I can see it in there eyes. They know that little Kelly and I aren't there parents but we are the only thing they have so they tolerate us. They got used to us. It was so bad before. They know there mom is dead. Hell- they were the first ones to see her dead."

"It's just kid intuition. They don't know I'm there father."

"Star has never grabbed someone's finger." That caught his attention. His eyes went wide as he looked at me.

"What?"

"Star has never grabbed someone's finger. She doesn't like to initiate physical contact that's why  she cries. She's never once touched someone first. Until you." He didn't want to believe me. I could see it in his eyes.

"She knows Leo. She knows."
