That's a Wrap

Over in the East wing Cazee sat in her bridal suite wondering where her mother was. It was Elizabeth, one of her bridesmaids, that called her into the parlor where there was a television and she saw her mothers house on the screen, along with a sheriffs car and ambulance. She had taken off for the hospital being driven by Arman, her longtime personal chauffeur since she was a child. After arriving at the hospital and being later joined by Brian, Robert's best man, her mother Vanessa had gotten discharged and she met a long lost relative in the process. It was in the car with Brian that she had learned the details of what took place with Robert while she was at the hospital. By the time they arrived at the police station, she was livid. As soon as  she and Brian walked inside, she spotted Pastor Givens and Frankie sitting on a bench, and she couldn't hold back her anger.

"Where?" she stoically asked.

Actually, she wasn't asking. It was more of a statement, and a definitive one at that. In a tone of belittlement, she continued, "Go ahead. Call upon his mighty name. I hear he is a refuge in time of trouble, and Pastor you're in big trouble now, so tell me where."

She was uncommonly calm as she continued on to politely ask, "Where is your God?" Then without warning, looking at Frankie, she tore loose, "WHERE THE FUCK IS HE," she blared as she lunged toward the bench thrashing and kicking with all her might! Brian bear hugged her to hold her back as best he could.

Pastor Givens sat there serenely handcuffed in the hallway outside of the interrogation room. He was fully aware of the charge he was facing. Frankie sat next to him in a set of handcuffs as well; but, his whole body, as rail thin as it was, was trembling uncontrollably. He was facing a charge of murder in the first degree for the killing of the well respected surgeon, who was now the deceased fianceé of the angry woman yelling at them. The only problem was Frankie didn't have an answer for her, cause he was an atheist. Yet and still, Pastor Givens wasn't worried. He met the irate woman's glare with empathetic eyes and a compassionate heart. He knew that God was God all by himself, and didn't need his, or anyone's help to bring anything to pass. He knew the God he served was a merciful and on time God, the same God that had created the Heavens and the Earth in just six days, so this situation was but a minuscule blip of a small inconvenience in time.
