"Get up, Gray! Man, you're lame, getting your butt kicked so bad..." Natsu was finally able to catch up with Gray, but his friend was badly beaten.
"Natsu... What are you doing here...?" Gray asked in a low voice.
Gray is a little shaken at losing to Lyon. He didn't expect that he could lose against him again. Either because he didn't want to defeat his friend or because he was weak.
"I dunno which way the village is, so I came back up to see. It's that way! C'mon, let's go!" Natsu lied and tried to help him, but Gray refused.
"Wait...! I can walk. Where's Lyon?"
"No idea. No one was here, and the ceremony was over." Natsu said. "Damn! It'll be our fault if they go after Lucy!"
Gray remembered what would happen if he couldn't stop Lyon.
"I hope Louisa can get there. At least she could protect the villagers." Natsu said.
"Natsu..." "Yeah?"
Gray's voice trembled when he said, "I'm in no place to criticize you... No place at all..."
Lots of memories popping up in his mind. Gray had taunted Natsu for carelessly taking on this mission and Louisa who had been trying to calm him down from beginning even though she was able to stop this fight.

"Quit feelin' sorry for yourself just 'cause you lost! We're members of Fairy Tail!" Natsu yelled at him. "The guild that doesn't know how to stop! The only way we can live is to keep running! Argh! It's even harder to run now!"

"Please listen! The enemy will be raiding this village very soon! They've taken up residence in the ruins in the forest and are the ones responsible for transforming everyone!" Lucy tried to tell the chief, but he ignored it.
"I don't care about that! Why haven't you destroyed the moon yet?!"
"Th-There's no need to destroy the moon anymore!" Lucy could not stand still and finally acted to protect the villagers. "Open, Gate of the Maiden! Virgo!"
"You called, Princess?"
The celestial spirit appeared and made a big hole as a trap.
"I find it really hard to believe anyone will fall for such a childish trap." Happy doubted Lucy's plan.
"Don't be silly. This is a perfect pitfall trap!
Suddenly Louisa made it to the village. She immediately ran over and called out to Lucy and Happy. "Lucy! Happy!" She didn't notice the hole in front of her and fell down. "AHH!!"
"Louisa!" Lucy and Happy shouted because the trap had successfully tricked someone.
Louisa managed to get out and didn't care why there was a hole there. "What are you doing? You have to take everyone away from here!"
