"Damn! I don't got time to waste! I'm gonna finish this right now!"
Just as Natsu was getting ready to attack Zalty, he was instead hit by a crystal ball. Louisa could feel the crystal ball moving towards Natsu. She recognized this crystal.

'I know this! You—!' Louisa glared at Zalty.
"I believe I'll do just the same, dear Salamander." Zalty attacked Louisa but was blocked his attacks, whereas Natsu continued to attack the crystal ball but the object would still return to the way it was.
"I can control an object's flow of time. In this case, I returned the crystal to the time before it was broken." Zalty said. "The Arc of Time is one type of Lost Magic, you see. Next, let's see what happens when I send the crystal into its future!"
Natsu was again hit by the crystal ball's attack, but Louisa was able to dodge the crystal. Since it was still a crystal, she could trace the crystal's location and destroy it. Even if she was able to destroy it, the crystal ball would still return to its original form.
'I can track and destroy it, but it's useless if it can return to the way it was.'
"Looks like it doesn't work on people, though!" Louisa said after observing Zalty's magic.
"Oh, you're very observant. More correctly, it doesn't work on living beings. Which is precisely why I can't turn back time for this ice that is Ur." He said.
"Honestly, I don't get you guys at all." Natsu said. "You're going to revive this thing and Lyon's going to defeat it. That may be good for Lyon, but what do all the others get out of it?" He asked.
"What is your real goal here?!" Louisa asked with angry aura.
"My, my. You're really too much." Zalty said. "The Cold Emperor, that mere boy, has no chance of defeating Deliora."
Natsu asked. "That's bad, then! Are you gonna defeat him?"
"I simply wish to make him mine. There do exist spells to control immortal beasts. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have such tremendous power at your fingertips?!" Zalty said.
"What a lame answer. Asking was a waste." Natsu said. "I just figured, you know, it'd be some reason that'd get me really fired-up to stop...!"
"You have yet to understand that the time will always come when you need power." Zalty said.
"You should be grateful to have the ability to touch the time. Controlling this demon? Don't be silly!" Louisa said with her spear that shining very bright.
"When that time comes, I'll put my faith in the strength of me and my friends! In the strength of the Fairy Tail wizards!" Natsu said.
"Overconfidence will be your downfall. O, ceiling! Accelerate time and crumble!"
