Chapter 30

"Ah- you guys were here!" Namjoon exclaimed when he and Yoongi stepped inside of the kitchen and saw Taehyung and Jungkook standing in the almost dark kitchen.

"I was with Jungkook" Taehyung says in a low voice. "He needed to take fresh air so we went out-"

"You two better keep it low or just end whatever it is between you!" Yoongi suddenly cuts Taehyung off and that took both Taehyung and Jungkook off guard.

Their eyes widened at the same time but Jungkook advanced Taehyung and opened his mouth first to retort.

"What do you mean?" Jungkook lets out with a bit of bitterness before continuing. "And watch your mouth-! You don't get to order me, around!!" He emphasizes with a harsh tone which made Yoongi groans out of frustration.

He knowsJungkook is probably the most stubborn person in this whole universe. But he has to change this attitude of his though, or else Junghwoon will come to his and Taehyung's throat.

"He's right, Kook!" Namjoon speaks in Yoongi's place. If there's someone who can resonate Jungkook in this room, then he is the most suited person. "Your father suspect something and he made it clear that he's not playing, around-"

"What do you mean by suspect something?" Taehyung jumps in, feeling his chest tightening and his breath hitch at the same time.

Suspect something? What thing? Does Junghwoon know-??? No! No! It can't be! He's going to fucking die-!!!!

"He asked me to spy on you guys to confirm if there's really something going on between you two and believe me, it's the least thing I want to do but I don't know how to handle this situation!!" Yoongi answers, head crowded with frustration.

He knows the consequences can be dangerous for both Taehyung and Jungkook if Junghwoon were to know about their affair, moreover, Yoongi can't cover them forever, they need to stop this to avoid any dramas from happening.

"He what?" Jungkook's mouth dropped, right away.

His mind stopped working for an instant, bugging to process the new information. Fuck- he should've been careful!!! His father can't know about them no matter what!!! No!!! He needs to do something!!!

"You need to end this shit! There's no way you're risking your lives by screwing around-!!" Namjoon lets out as a scold.

They shouldn't underestimate Junghwoon. He's still a very dangerous man so messing behind his back while he already suspect something, is just a suicide.

"This shit?" Taehyung barked, obviously offended by what Namjoon said. "What Jungkook and I have is nothing but a 'shit'. Sorry but we can't end this 'shit' just like that!!" Taehyung snapped which surprised everyone else in the room.

Well, it did also surprise Taehyung himself. He doesn't know what has gotten into him. First, he doesn't want Jungkook to go to Jimin for comfort, he wants the younger to seek comfort from him and only him. And secondly, to top it all, he refused to stay away from Jungkook.

Simply put, it's complicated so there's no explanation. He's just sick in the head, yeah, maybe that's the reason why he's acting like a fool. Or maybe because he knows that there's no way for him to escape from here if he doesn't get a good grip of Jungkook. Yeah, that's definitely it. He's not crazy! Actually, he's just pretty smart.

"Taehyung-" Jungkook tries to speak but Taehyung quickly cuts him off.

"No! You're not going to convince me that it's only shit and nothing more! I'm not one of your whores, Jeon! You can't throw me away just-"

"Oh my god! Who said I'm going to throw you away?" Jungkook growls, annoying boiling inside of him.

He hates it when Taehyung thinks of him, like that. Just the thought of throwing Taehyung away made him internally wince in pain. How can he do that? How can he do that after the promises he made to save the older from this shithole!???
