"I have a headache," Harry said quietly as he rubbed his chest.

"That's why you don't get high," Zain said. "You have a child that needs you, Harry, maybe you should take that into consideration."

"I know," Harry sighed. "How many times do I have to tell you I'm sorry?"

"Start caring for your child properly, then maybe I'll accept your apology." Zain said angrily, setting down his book.
"I'm trying Zain," Harry said quietly, looking down at the floor. "It's confusing being a first-time parent. I don't have as much experience as you, and I'm only 22. I should still be able to do what every other 22 year olds do too."

Zain just huffed angrily, grabbing his pack of cigarettes and his lighter and storming outside, leaving Harry alone in the living room. Harry bit his bottom lip, twisting his promise ring around his finger.
Harry made his way upstairs when Darcy began to wail, picking her up carefully and setting her back down on her changing table.

When Zain entered the bedroom, he saw Harry playing with Darcy on the bed smiling fondly at her. Zain felt extremely bad about what he had said — he knew Harry cared so much for Darcy and was willing to give her the world, and that Harry was still young and should have the freedom to be himself without having to worry about babies.

"Hey," Zain said quietly as he sat down on the bed next to Harry. He smiled up at him.

"Hey," the brunette said.

"You're not upset?" Zain asked, confused.

"No?" Harry furrowed his brows. "Why would I? I've realized what you said was right, and I need to be a better parent for Darcy."
"But you were right also," Zain pointed out. "You're still young, you should have the freedom to go out and do what you want."

Harry just shrugged, looking down at Darcy. "I want to be a better parent for her. I need to."

"Okay baby," Zain kissed Harry's hair. "I'm sorry I got upset with you, I shouldn't have."

"It's fine," Harry shrugged. "Can you kiss me again?"

Zain smiled, kissing Harry's cheek. "I love you."

"I love you too," Harry returned Zain's kisses, smiling lovingly. "You should come shower with me, you smell like cigarettes."

"Sorry," Zain said, smelling himself and wrinkling his nose. "Guess I do. Look at her, she's starting to smile."
"Yeah," Harry murmured. "She's adorable." Harry looked up at Zain, frowning slightly. "You okay?"

"'M fine." Zain said. "Jus' feel bad for getting upset with you."
"I said it's fine," Harry scrubbed his hands through Zain's hair. "It's okay. It happens."

Zain just shrugged, leaning into Harry's touch. "'S feels nice," Zain mumbled, scooting closer to Harry.

"Wanna go shower now?" Harry asked, standing up slowly with Darcy, and setting her down in her baby swing. Zain just nodded, watching as Harry stripped down to just his pants. Zain undressed as well, biting his bottom lip.

"I need to get my life together." Harry muttered as he stepped into the shower next to Zain. "Have you finished recording that song?"
