Abby sighed. God, she thought, you know what I don't know. She prayed before turning back to the small room of children. Only five had showed up. Three girls and two boys.
"Hello everyone!" All of them stopped and turned to face her. "My name is Ms Abby. Today we are going to learn about the lion." She gestured to the board where she's hung up a picture of the animal. "How many of y'all have seen one of these?" She asked. After a minute when no hands went up she explained to them how to raise their hands when asked a question to get a chance to answer it. She again asked and this time a little girl raised her hand. "When can we leave?" The girl asked when Abby called on her. Abby smiled sweetly. Bending down Infront of the girl she asked for her name. "Neema." The girl answered. Abby smiled standing up.
"I'm here so I can teach y'all about the world and the way God made it to work." Again and again Abby tried to teach them and ask but at the end of their time together she was no closer than when she'd started. She felt defeated as the children's parents came to pick them up. She was surprised when Jackson came to pick up that last little boy who's name she had learned was Likho.
When she was about to turn around to pick up the room for tomorrow she was stopped by Jackson calling her name. "Do you have plans for tomorrow nights dinner?" He asked holding the little boy in his arms.
"No." I answer feeling another blush creeping up my cheeks. If he had kids why was he inviting me to dinner?
"My mom said to invite you, you can walk home with us tomorrow if you want." I shook my head In agreement. And then he was gone. I stood for minute before picking up the classroom and walking back to the hotel. At the hotel she wrote to Jenna asking for prayer for the children and prayer for herself. She then told Abby about Jackson and asked for prayer for that to. Abby also wrote to her parents and replied to a letter sent to her from pastor Charles, the pastor of the church that was funding her.

After this she sat on her bed and simply prayed. She prayed and prayed searching for the answers she didn't know and asking for God to help.
How would she get the children to listen, why had Jackson asked her to dinner, why had she wanted to go(although she knew the answer she still didn't understand it.), Why hadn't she seen progress?  All good questions but, all unanswered ones.
Closing her eyes she continued to meditate until she fell asleep.

Waking up the next morning she rubbed her eyes. It was earlier than she usually got up but she didn't sleep well. And knew going back to bed wasn't an option. Jackson was all she could think of. Abby never did have crushes, but she felt that this might be her first. Wich was weird because she didn't even know Jackson. Getting out of bed she got dressed and decided to mail the letters she'd written last night. Sliding on her shoes she walks out. She finds Anashé rocking her baby in the main room of the hotel. Anashé is the girl who was at the hotel the first day.  "Going somewhere?" Anashé ask as she walks by. Abby nods her head. Stopping to talk to the girl.
"I have a few letters to mail." I reply, holding up the letters as proof.  Anashé obviously not in a mood to talk nods her head and moves on. I send a silent prayer heavenward for her and move on. I slide the letters into a pocket on my skirt that I was wearing and begin to walk. I notice the small group of children singing the song again and I stop to sing with them. In the middle of the circle a boy stands I guess he is leading the song.
As if to answer my question he begins the song,

Upendo wa mungo kweli ni wa,

And then everyone joins together to sing,

Ni wa ja bu,
Upendo wa mungo kweli ni wa,
Ni wa ja bu,
Waweza kwenda mbele
                 Kwend nyuma

Waweza kwenda juu
                 Kwenda chini
                                                              Kweli
Upande, upande kwa matai fa yote,
Upande, upande kwa matai fa yote.

After the song is over I continue my walk along the road, although I continue to humm the entire way.

A/N what did y'all think of the song? This is a song I learnt at a summer camp and I love it.
What do you thinks going to happen with Jackson? Whoever guesses right will get a shout out later.
