Iris Potter Watching the Movies {ON HOLD TILL 2027}

Mountain Troll

[That Halloween night, the great hall has floating Jack O'Lanterns in place of the candles. Aries notices two empty spots on the bench.]

Aries: Where's Iris and Hermione?

Neville: Parvati Patil said that she wouldn't come out of the girl's bathroom. Iris has been with her. She said that she'd been in there all afternoon...crying.

[Aries glances at Ron with a glare on his face; Ron shrugs. Suddenly, Professor Quirrell comes running into the Great Hall in panic.]

Molly frowns deeply at her son's action.

Quirrell: TROLL! IN THE DUNGEON! T-TROOLLL IN THE DUNGEON!! [Dumbledore rises from his seat in concern. Everyone look at Quirrell and he stops and there is utter silence.] Thought you ought to know.

[He passes out. The room is silent, and then everyone freaks out, screaming and running.]

"A TROLL?!"

"WHY WEREN'T THE PARENTS INFORMED?!"

"DUMBLEDORE!!!"

Shouts of mothers can be heard across the Great Hall.

"We will be looking into this matter, Dumbledore", Madam Bones warns him, then mutters with a frown, "How can a troll get past the wards?"

Dumbledore: SILLLLLEEENNNNCEEEEE! [Everyone stops and calms down.] Everyone will please, not panic. Now, Prefects will lead their houses back to the dormitories. Teachers will follow me to the dungeons.

"HUFFLEPUFF AND SLYTHERIN COMMON ROOMS ARE IN THE DUNGEONS! DO YOU WANT TO GET THEM KILLED!", Narcissa shouted.

"Mum, we went through another passage. It's okay."

Narcissa relaxes a little but still glares at Dumbledore.

Girl: Hufflepuff, this way!

Boy: Stay together!

[Snape looks aghast, and he walks out through a doorway. A bit later, Percy is leading the house down a corridor.]

Mutters of "What is Snape doing?" spread.

Percy: Gryffindors, keep up please. And stay alert!

Aries: How could a troll get in?

Ron: Not by itself. Trolls are really stupid. Probably people playing jokes. [Suddenly, Aries stops and pulls Ron aside.] What?

Aries: Iris and Hermione! They don't know!

Everyone, except the obvious, gasped in realization and horror.

[The two separate themselves from the crowd. They run down corridors. They start running down a hall when they stop, because there is a grunting noise and a large shadow on the wall.]

Ron: I think the troll's left the dungeon!

[Aries pulls Ron into a doorway, they peer out to see a large, ugly troll thunks by into a room.]

Aries: It's going into the Girl's Bathroom!

[In the bathroom, Hermione emerges from a stall, wiping her eyes. Iris is hugging her. They stop when they see something. The troll is standing there. They back up, into the stall just as the troll raises its club and smashes the top part of the stalls. They scream. Aries and Ron come bursting in.]

"RUN!"

Aries: Hermione, Iris, move!

[The troll smashes the remaining stalls.]
