harry had just explained what he heard mcgonagall and dumbledore talking about while he was in the hospital wing. the chamber of secrets had been opened before.
"of course. don't you see? lucius malfoy must have opened it when he was at school here." ron looks down, "now he's taught draco how to do it"
you roll your eyes.
"maybe. we'll have to wait for the polyjuice potion to know for sure" hermione shakes a jar with some sort of herb or something in it before opening it and pouring some into the steaming cauldron.
