The heroes slowly made their way out of the Snow Kingdom. Everyone was heading out towards the Fire Kingdom, also known as the Rustlands.
"Apparently these rustlands are infamous for being burning hot, an estimated amount of 105 celsius. Only the chosen ones are able to beat the extreme heat," Zhongli explained.
Hajime stammered, "This is going to be a lot harder just to get into the kingdom. We'll just melt!" The others stared at the path that was up ahead of them. They continued down walking.
"So Queen Snow Frost told me I have the unified form... would that mean King Raident would think of me worthy?" Byleth wondered.
Kyoko replied describing, "It seems likely but at the same time I doubt it would be that easy. King Raident doesn't know who all of us are. Maybe besides Albedo but that's just it."
Albedo chimed in explaining, "The thing is with King Raident he's playful with fighting. As long as you understand his ways, you should be able to beat the heat easily." Then the heroes stopped abruptly.
"Oh... no..." Mikan muttered. There they saw it, the hot boiling ground, it looked like it was a volcano.
Chiaki asked, "Now what do we do?"
"There's a reason why I made shoes for this," Byleth exclaimed while he pulled out shoes for everyone. They placed those shoes on and looked at Byleth.
Byleth cheerfully shouted, "Now let's go and beat the heat!" They slowly started walking down the path. The heroes were doing fine for the most time. However, the heat started getting to people.
"I don't understand how people are able to live in this kingdom!" Sayaka groaned.
Claude explained, "The people are chosen to stay here... that's why." The others groaned alongside him.
Ayaka asked, "Shouldn't someone make a fan?"
"No can do, we won't be considered worthy if we use a fan," Zhongli groaned. The others were "melting" in the heat.
Byleth checked the temperature and answered, "It's... it's... 65 celsius... it's... so... hot..." Then he was about to pass out before Childe grabbed him.
"We have to be careful, it's about to hit the maximum..." Childe muttered.
"WHO GOES THERE?" A voice boomed. The heroes all took out their weapons and searched the area. Then... King Raident appeared.
