"Today is the Heroic Festival right?" Hu Tao asked Raiden. She looked at her in confusion.
Raiden answered, "Let me check my calendar to make sure..." She checked it and sure enough, it was. She nodded.
"I'm supposed to help prepare for the festival! Oh great, I'm going to be late at this rate!" Hu Tao groaned.
Raiden sighed, "Don't sweat it, look ahead of you. It's only 12 o'clock. You'll be fine, aren't you supposed to arrive around 14 o'clock?"
"Yeah, but I want to find the perfect outfit!" Hu Tao groaned. She kept going through her closet but she couldn't find anything that she wanted to wear.
"It's the 8th annual Heroic festival right?" Raiden asked. Hu Tao nodded. She looked around and saw an outfit. "What about this one?" Hu Tao looked over in confusion and saw the outfit.
Hu Tao gasped, "I-It's PERFECT!!" She hugged Raiden and rushed to change her clothing. She looked outside the window and saw the sun shimmering brightly.
"It's going to be the 8th one in a row. I've only visited it once and that was the first one. There have been a total of 20 but none of them were in a row. I remember how young the heroes were..." Raiden sighed.
Hu Tao laughed, "Don't worry about it! You can visit the 21st one!"
"I guess so, what should I wear..." Raiden thought.
Hu Tao cheered, "I think you look fine in that!" Raiden looked down at herself and nodded.
"Okay, I guess you should hurry, I'll be at the festival when it begins," Raiden sighed. Hu Tao nodded and rushed off. She walked through Hero city and came across a bridge. There she spotted Zhongli gazing down at the rivers.
Hu Tao cheered, "Zhongli!!!" He looked up and smiled at her.
"I'm glad you made it! You're early but the earlier you are here, the better!" Zhongli laughed. Hu Tao smiled up at him. "Your outfit is quite the wondrous one, it's nice." They walked to the hill where Chrom was waiting for them.
"Greeting Zhongli and Hu Tao..." Chrom said with a smile. Hu Tao waved and Zhongli shook hands with Chrom.
Hu Tao sighed, "It's an honor for me to be helping you! How old are you again if you don't mind me asking?" Chrom smiled down at her.
"I am 52 years old," Chrom laughed.
Zhongli sighed, "You don't get any younger from here!" The two of them laughed. Hu Tao smiled at them.
"Well, I'm just glad to help! After all, you guys are going to be holding more festivals as the years go on!" Hu Tao cheered. Zhongli and Chrom looked at one another.
Chrom sighed, "This... is going to be our last one..."
"What..." Hu Tao gasped. She couldn't comprehend what she was hearing.
Zhongli replied, "We'll explain later, come along." They walked across the hill to where the other heroes were working on the decorations.
"This is going to be a special one..." Chrom sighed.
Hu Tao exclaimed, "I'll do everything I can to make sure this is going to be the best one yet!" The heroes all smiled down at her. Then they continued on with putting the decorations.
"I'm wishing this can continue but why do we need to end it!?" Hu Tao asked. The heroes looked at her.
"We have been fighting this for so long, it's about time we set the world free from our hands..." Chrom sighed. The other heroes looked at one another.
