"He... wants to kill me?" Chrom asked. He toppled over and was shaking. The heroes looked at the sky again and saw the vortex forming. Byleth and Link grabbed Chrom and began to drag him.
"COME ON!!" Sonic shouted. They continued to rush down the path as the storm vortex continued to form.
"Hey... wake up sweet one..." Chrom slowly opened his eyes to a small shining light. He looked around and saw Possessed Demon King. The one who haunted him many years ago...
Possessed Demon King asked, "Did you miss me? Of course, you did..." Chrom backed away but the creature stood there staring at him. Soon Demon and Possessed appeared.
Chrom asked, "W-WHAT THE HELL?! I THOUGHT THE HEROES DESTROYED YOU ALL!"
"They did... but we're back again," Possessed muttered. Chrom began to panic. These were the forms that haunted his body in the past. The ones that drove him insane.
"N-No... I refuse to believe that..." Chrom gasped. Then Demon walked up to him and grabbed him by the chin.
Demon laughed, "You were living in your regrets, your lies. King Liberty wants to destroy you because of how you felt about yourself. Living with the ultimate guilt..." Chrom try to shake himself but he couldn't it felt like it was all real.
"No... please..." Chrom grunted. The ominous laughter got louder and louder. Chrom was being driven crazy by his mistakes. The destruction of the team, destroying hero town, ruining his reputation, ruining his insanity. Those hide among Chrom's little lies.
"No! STOP!!!" Chrom screamed. He seemed like he was on the verge of tears. He tried to shake himself awake but he couldn't. Betraying his friends, betraying his original life, the suffering... Emelia...
"You can never wake up Chrom, this is nothing but your reality now, you are forever stuck living in your lies knowing that you did something wrong..." Possessed Demon King laughed. Chrom began to cry. He wanted to free himself from the hell he was living in but he couldn't. He couldn't escape his past mistakes, but...
"You guys will never win..." Chrom grunted. He looked up at the creatures and they looked at him. Their expressions became empty. Completely removed of their faces.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Chrom screamed.
Byleth shouted, "HIDDEN DEN UP AHEAD!" The heroes then rushed in to hide in there.
