Michael walked to his aunt's house and opened the door just in time for her to shove his baby cousin in his arms and run out. His cousin, a nearly two year old named Hunter. Hunter looked up at his uncle before wiggling out of his arms and trying to run outside.
Michael reacted quickly and grabbed him from his tummy, holding him upside down, making him giggle and squeal. "Uncle Mikey, I wan' go to park!" Hunter shouted. "Not like that little guy. Go put on something better for going out, okay? Then we can go buy ice cream and go to the park."
Michael set him down and he ran towards his room, presumably to go change clothes. He came back out five minutes later, with shorts and a Batman t-shirt on. "I'm ready, Uncle Mikey! See?" He pointed to his sock-clad feet, waiting for Michael to put his shoes on. Michael laughed and bent down, putting Hunter's shoes on and tying them. "Okay buddy, you ready to go out yet? When we go out, you either hold my hand or I carry you okay, understand?" He said, grabbing some money for ice cream.
Hunter nodded and raised his arms, silently asking to be picked up. Michael complied, picking Hunter up and walking outside, locking the door after themselves. They walked a couple blocks to the park, and Michael let Hunter down so he could go to the playground. Michael found a lovely tree to sit under. He was watching Hunter playing with a little brown haired girl when he sensed a commotion near him. He turned, and as soon as he saw what was going on, he ran over, shouting.

okay im literally such an idiot i'm going back and reading this and i realised that if it's mikey's aunt, hunter wouldn't be his nephew, it'd be his cousin i'm a complete and utter idiot (but i'm not changing it because hunter calling mikey "uncle mikey" is just too cute)
