"So, how old are you?" Ashton hadn't stopped asking Michael questions since they got to Starbucks. Michael didn't mind much, as Ashton kept the conversation going. "I'm nearly twenty-one, my birthday's November 20th." Michael said, sipping from his straw. "Ooh, are you gonna go clubbing? If you are, can I go?" Ashton spoke a mile a minute. "If you'd like." Michael hesitantly murmured.

The boys sat in silence for a moment until both boys stiffened as they saw a blonde boy across the street. Ashton noticed Michael tensing up, and asked why he was awkward. "Oh, that boy across the street and I were very close, we dated for a bit before he said some things I found rude and I stopped talking to him." Michael said, reminiscing in his thoughts.

"Oh, um, can I tell you something Michael?" Michael nodded unsurely, wondering what he could be so shy about. "That boy and I had sex when he was drunk and he left me the next morning to wake up alone." Ashton rushed out. Michael turned away from staring at him across the street and stared at Ashton.

"I'm sorry I didn't know he had a boyfriend please don't hate me." Ashton started rocking back and forth in his seat, tears rushing down his cheeks. Michael got out of his seat, going to hug the slightly smaller boy. "Ash, love, it's alright, I'm not mad at you, we weren't dating yet, it's okay. You needn't cry, I'm not going to hate you for something that happened before me and him went out."

Ashton pushed his face into the crook of Michael's neck, hugging him tightly. Both of the boys were so busy comforting each other that they didn't notice that the blonde boy across the street and stopped in his tracks, looking in horror at the two boys hugging in front of Starbucks.
