Hunter had fallen off the swing, and his arm looked dangerously bent, so Luke tried to think rationally. "Hunter, don't move, okay? I think you hurt your arm pretty hard bud, so I'm gonna call someone to get over here." Hunter nodded, tears streaking his cheeks. Luke picked him up, thinking he most likely needed some comfort.

Hunter snuggled into Luke with one arm, the other being nearly limp, as he tried to not cause more pain. Luke called an ambulance and told them the address of the park, and the responder said they'd be there in five to ten minutes.

Luke noticed that Hunter was starting to go limp, about to fall asleep. He didn't know if he had hit his head during his fall, so he tried keeping him awake. "Bud, you can't go to sleep." Hunter whined grumpily, trying to hide his face in Luke's shoulder and sleep. Luke started bouncing Hunter up and down gently, so he couldn't sleep. He kept it up for six minutes until the paramedics got there.

"Hello, his name is Hunter Clifford, I was babysitting him and he fell off the swing, I don't know how, I only looked away for a second. His arm looks funny and I don't know if he hit his head on the way down, so I didn't want to let him nap. He's about to be two. Is he gonna be okay? His uncle will kill me if he's hurt." Luke rambled until the paramedic motioned for him to stop speaking. "Sir, we may need to go to the hospital, Hunter here needs a cast, and we can check him properly for a concussion there." Luke nearly started crying when she said that, he knew for sure Michael would kill him. They both hopped in the back of the ambulance, Luke still holding a sleepy Hunter, as they raced off to the hospital.

i'll not be posting for a bit bc my sister passed out and had to go the hospital, she's fine i think, but i still got worried, and my aunt and grandma are here, so i need to spend time w them. i'll most likely post next week?? idk tbh.
