WELCOME TO THE
LOSER'S CLUB.

THE SCHOOL BELL RANG LOUDLY and everyone sprinted out of their classrooms. Kids were shoving through the doors, eager to escape this hell hole. "Finally, school's over. Summer's here," I cheered to my friend, Stanley. We shared the same English class; well not anymore since school is done but, you get what I mean.

"Yeah. This summer is going to be so good," he replied as I followed him through the hall. He was trying to catch up with his other friends, Bill Denbrough, Richie Tozier and Eddie Kaspbrak. I didn't really talk to them or share any classes with them but they seemed friendly.

They were known as the 'Losers Club' by majority of the school; constantly being picked on for one main reason each. Stanley was made fun of for being Jewish–which is totally unfair on him, Bill was bullied for his stutter–that he couldn't help, Richie was bullied for his glasses–which made his eyes look massive–and Eddie was made fun of for being insanely anxious regarding his health–like honestly, he's a complete germaphobe. I felt bad for them but there isn't much I can do unless I want to end up like them as well. I do try stick up for Stanley as much as I can though, he's my friend after all.

Stanley searched the crowds down the hall and spotted them. Grabbing my wrist tightly and pulling me along, he called over to them. "Wait up, you guys!" He pushed in to make room for us to walk with them all. They didn't take much notice of me walking with them.

"Hey Stan, what happens at the Bar Mitzvah anyways?" Bill asked the boy. "Ed says they slice the tip of your d-d-dick off," he stuttered.
"What the-" I spoke till I was cut off by the one with red glasses.
"Yeah, and I think the rabbi's gonna pull down your pants, turn to the crowd and go: 'Where's the beef?'" Richie then laughed to himself.

Stanley's friends are pretty weird, maybe that's one of the reasons they get bullied. We turned the hall as Stanley started to explain to them what happens. "At the Bar Mitzvah, I read from the Torah, then I make a speech, and suddenly, I become a man."

Richie spoke up again, "I can think of funner ways to be a man."
"'More fun' you mean," Stan corrected. As we walked through the hall, we passed Bower's gang. "Oh shit." They all glared maliciously and smirked at us going by and I accidentally made eye contact with Henry. I quickly glanced away and gripped the straps of my bag tighter.

Bowers' gang was a group of bullies. More specifically, Henry Bowers and his minions: Patrick Hocksetter, Belch Huggins and Victor Criss. They tormented everyone who they felt was smaller and more vulnerable than them. Why? Not sure, I assume just for fun though or to boost their fragile egos.

Sometimes they try pick on me, calling me a slut and making up rumours. They constantly bullied the Losers Club and their newest victim was Beverly Marsh. She was a pretty girl that probably rejected Henry or something so his insecurities got the best of him and he decided to make up a bunch of rumours about her. Of course I don't believe them though.

"Who's this anyway?" Eddie asked, pointing over at me. "This is Y/n. She's my friend from my English class," Stan introduced. "Hi," I awkwardly half waved. "Nice to me-meet you, Y/n."
"You too."

"Stan, I can go if you want. I honestly don't mind." It was a bit awkward for me as I didn't know the others as well as they knew each other. "No. It's alright," Bill answered. I looked over at him and smiled. They're weird but nice, I guess.

Finally we reached the large school doors and exited the building. Some girl shoved passed me. "Bitch," I muttered. We all rushed to the trashcan, unzipping our bags and dumping the contents out. "Best. Feeling. Ever," Stanley stated with a huge smile on his face. "Yeah? Try tickling your pickle for the first time," Richie retorted. So far, he's made the impression that he is sort of a big mouth. "Gross," I gagged.
