My life has been pretty sweet. I have an adorable little brother and I love my family. Since I was a kid I have always been pretty into boxing and fighting. Because of that, I ended up getting into a lot of fights when I was younger, and it didn't help that I had a short temper. Most girls I know are either laid back or uptight, but I myself fall in the "aggressive" category. My short temper has always gotten the best of me, but I was still able to make friends who understood me. Unfortunately, I have to leave it all behind though. I have to transfer to a new school because my dad got a new job in some place called Helltown. What I didn't know was that a crazy adventure was awaiting me.
Delilah's house, 7:30 am.
This morning has been so hectic! I've been standing by the front door for 15 minutes and my little brother still hasn't come down the stairs. How long does it take to put on a pair of socks?!
Delilah: "Jack! Get down here we have to get going!"
At this point, I only have a half hour to walk him to school and get myself to the high school. Why did I have to volunteer to take him???
Jack came down the stairs all hap hazardously. His shaggy brown hair, which he gets from the family genes, was pointing in every direction. His face had an expression of carefree joy as he danced around each step. He may be the slowest person on the planet, but I love him to death. He makes me laugh.
Delilah: I giggled a little, "There you are geez. Come on we have to go."
I helped him put on his backpack and handed him a meat bun for breakfast.
Delilah: "Eat that on the way."
Jack: "Li Li what's my new school gonna be like?"
I thought for a moment. Changing schools isn't easy, especially at my age, but he's only in elementary school so he should be fine. I don't want to freak him out though, so I'll just tell him what he wants to hear.
Delilah: "It's going to be great! I know you'll make lots of friends. Just promise not to have too much fun without me, okay?"
Jack: "Okay!"
He smiled big and gave me a hug. I opened the door and we began to embark on the journey to our new lives.
