Cafeteria, 12:05 pm.

After the first few periods lunch finally arrived. I scrambled down the hall dying of hunger until I finally found the doors to the Cafeteria.

As expected the Cafeteria is absolutely enormous. I scanned the room. There were literally no seats. And to make matters worse, I have no friends. Why did the teacher have to sit in front of the weird chick?!? Not to mention, I've had to sit in front of her in every class so far because that's the only seat that's friggin open! Why is she in so many of my classes???

Unknown: "NOAHHH!!!!"

That scared the crap out of me! I turned around and saw it was the tiny blonde chick from this morning. She was standing a few feet away from me. She seems to have a few screws loose so I should try to stay away from her.

The girl noticed me standing there a bit unnerved by her shouting. She also noticed that I was alone.

Shit, she saw me! I spun back around and tried to avoid her gaze, but unfortunately, she already had her arm around my shoulders.

The girl: "Hi there! I don't think I've seen you before, which is pretty rare around here."

Feeling cursed and hated by God, I responded.

Delilah: "Yeah I just moved here over the summer, today's my first day."

The girl: "Oh wow a newbie. We haven't had one of those in a really long time. Well, it's nice to meet you, my name's Cassie."

She looked at me with this hopeful and pure expression. Her gold hair was curled at the ends like a princess. She had these crazy deep brown eyes and freckles that looked like a starry night sky on her face. Her grin was perfect with straight white teeth. This girl could be a model. Her personality needs a little work though. She doesn't seem like the type to think before she does something. Looking at her, I noticed she reminded me of my little brother. I can see now that I'm going to have trouble saying no to this girl in the future.

Delilah: "ditto, my name's Delilah."

Cassie: "well Delilah, since you're new I doubt you've mingled much. Would you like to join my friend and me over there?"

Cassie pointed to a small cozy table in the back corner of the enormous room. It had one person sitting at it staring back with a confused look on their face. It's the guy she tackled this morning.

For some reason the dread I was feeling today slowly faded away. Maybe I'm not so cursed after all.

 Delilah: "yeah I'd love to."

Cassie: "great!"

She whispered under her breath, "Can't wait to introduce you to Noah."

Delilah: "what?"

But before she could answer my question, Cassie grabbed my arm and sprinted through the crowd.
