Room 867 AKA the art room, 2:07 pm
I stepped into the large room and looked around. There were rows of easels in pairs on the left and right sides. Scanning the area, I spotted Noah sitting in the center of the left row. He was looking down at something and then spotted me. He waved me over.
Delilah: "Hey Noah!"
Noah: "Hey! I didn't know you were in this class."
Delilah: "Yeah, what a nice coincidence."
Noah: "I know right?"
I sat down next to him and looked over at his easel. He was painting some sort of river landscape. I turned to get a good look at him. He had short wavy hair that was just long enough to be in his eyes. It was black with dyed ends. The ends of his hair were a greyish purple and matched his eyes that sat behind circular glasses. He appeared to be pretty artsy.
Noah: "So, you paint a lot?"
I turned back towards my easel as I responded.
Delilah: "Nope, not at all. But I like the vibe of art rooms."
He laughed.
Noah: "Pfft really? So you just chose this class because you wanted to chill?"
Delilah: "I mean yeah, I didn't know what other class I should take to complete my schedule, so I chose art. It's a pretty easy class to pass."
Noah: "That's true, and the mood in here is pretty calming. The art teachers are really free-spirited so they try and let us paint and draw as much as possible."
Delilah: "Really? Then what kind of exams do you have in this class?"
Noah: "It's not really an exam, but we do have a little contest, and the winner gets showcased as the artist of the year."
Delilah: "Really? Wow, that's so cool!"
Noah: "Yeah, I've never won though. The winners tend to be seniors."
Delilah: "I guess that makes sense."
We continued to chat and paint for the rest of the period.
Hallway, 2:58 pm

Delilah: "Today ended on a good note, that was pretty fun."
Noah: "yeah totally, it was fun chatting with you."
Noah smiled and glanced down the hall.
Noah: "We should probably wait for Cassie."
Delilah: "Oh actually I really need to get going, I have to pick up my little brother from school."
Noah: "Oh okay, see you tomorrow then?"
Delilah: "Yeah, tell Cassie I said goodbye."
Noah: "Alright, bye!"
Delilah: "Bye!"
I walked down the hallway and reached the stairwell. Time to go pick up jack.
Jack's school front gate, 3:28 pm
Walking along the sidewalk I started thinking about my day. I have mixed emotions. On one hand, it was really freaky, that girl, what was her name? Joy? She's definitely a different type of personality. It will be difficult to get used to her. On the other hand, I made two new friends. Cassie and Noah are so kind and genuine. I'm lucky to have met people like them so quickly.
I reached the front of Jack's school and began scanning for him. When I spotted him I gave him a holler.
Delilah: "Jack!!!"
