Room 451, 8:05 am.

Teacher: "Alright everyone, settle down."

The chatter quieted slightly, but there was still a light buzz of conversation.

Teacher: "We have a new student this year, please turn your attention to her."

The classroom froze for a second. The light simmering energy from before morphed into curious whispers.

I entered the room feeling uneasy. Who knew the mood could change with just a few words? It's so intense you could cut the tension with a knife. I took a deep breath and my nerves calmed a little.

Delilah: "Hi, my name is Delilah Lovel."

Teacher: "Delilah just moved here over the summer so be kind and welcoming to her."

I looked around the room. At first glance, this looks like a normal classroom, but if you look towards the back of the room there's a whole new aura seeping through the walls. It's so cold and seems to be cut off from everything. I noticed a girl sitting at the center of that aura, staring back at me. Her eyes looked like they were burning with fire. She seemed to be brimming with curiosity. I whispered under my breath,

Delilah: "what the-"

Teacher: "Delilah, you can sit right over there." She pointed to the window seat in front of the curious girl.

Shit. Juuuuuuuuuuuusssstt greeeaat. I get to sit in front of the creepy chick everyone is avoiding.

I walked to the back of the room seeming unfazed to others, but on the inside, I was screaming. Every eye in the room followed me with each step I took. I sat in front of the pink-haired reject and stared directly at the teacher. The teacher began speaking which drew most of the attention away from me. Except that one girl kept staring at me. I could feel her eyes burning holes in the back of my head.

What is with this chick?!

Whatever. I need to start paying attention. I'm shitty enough at math as it is. I started taking notes like crazy, and soon I could no longer feel her burning gaze.
