Second Chance At Love

Chapter 11

Jimin was nervous. Not because of his date but because his friends were going to meet Taehyung for the first time and he was going to meet the other man's friends too. 

He is sure that his friends and Taehyung are going to love each other, but he isn't so sure about the reverse situation. What if they don't like him? It had been a long time since he had met new people, so he was nervous. 

It had been a few days since their last unexpected yet lovely date, and not one day had passed when Taehyung hadn't messaged or called him. 

And if you ask him the truth, he was loving it. Jimin really enjoyed this new attention he was getting. For the first time in a long time, he was getting the attention he deserved from someone other than his friends, and that too, from an amazing person like Taehyung. 

As crazy or unbelievable as it sounds, Jimin had really gotten attached to Taehyung in the little time they'd known each other. Given his past and Taehyung's profession, it should be hard, but somehow, with Taehyung, everything seemed so easy to him. 

He was glad he decided to give Taehyung a chance. He was really looking forward to whatever they had currently and whatever they'd have in the future. 

But Jimin was sure about one thing. He wanted Taehyung in his life. Maybe as just a friend, or maybe something more. He doesn't know. But he would like to have someone like Taehyung in his life if the other wanted to. 

Currently, Jimin, along with Jungkook, Yoongi, and Hoseok, were on the way to the place where Taehyung called them to. The three were really excited when they heard Taehyung wanted to meet them. They had even made a list of all the things they would say in front of him to embarrass Jimin, and Jimin wasn't very delighted about that.

 

After an hour of driving, they finally reached the location Taehyung had sent him to. It was a paintball survival game site in Gangwon-do, Chuncheon. Yes, Taehyung had chosen this activity for them. 

Hoseok looked excited, Yoongi wasn't very enthusiastic about it, and Jungkook was having a field day. Jimin was just wishing everything went well. And he stays on the winning team. He was secretly quite competitive.

After parking the car, they reached the entrance. There, Jimin saw Taehyung, who was waving enthusiastically when he saw them, which was returned equally enthusiastically by Jungkook and Hoseok. Besides Taehyung, there were two other men. Both are tall and handsome.

One of them was extremely beautiful. The other had such a strong and muscular build, as if he was a trained fighter. Jimin guessed him to be Namjoon, Taehyung's cousin and also a major in the forces. He surely looked like someone who belonged in the army. Then the beautiful man must be Seokjin, Namjoon's fiancé. 

As soon as they reached the other three, Taehyung pulled Jimin in a short hug. Long enough to express his happiness upon seeing Jimin, but short enough to not make him uncomfortable. It was only the second or third time they hugged, after all. 

Though Jimin wasn't uncomfortable. Instead, he found the hug to be very warm and welcoming. He wouldn't have minded if it had lasted longer, but Taehyung pulled away quickly. Also, Hoseok coughed quite loudly and obviously intentionally. Jimin mentally cursed at his hyung for being a little annoying sometimes. 

Anyway, they both pulled away from the hug with smiles plastered on their faces. Then Taehyung proceeded to introduce his hyungs to Jimin and his friends. 

"Jimin, this is Namjoon Hyung, my cousin and also my best friend." Taehyung said, gesturing to the tallest male among them, proving Jimin had guessed correctly.
