I know she just didn't hang up on me .

"See this why I didn't wanna call her ass." I snapped at Michael . He shook his head as I tossed my phone on top of my desk .

"Y'all just too much ." Michael said , taking out his phone .

"Yeah you call her." I said , walking out .

"Y'all get a truck ready so we can just jump right in when we get information." I said as my phone started ringing . The number wasnt saved but I still answered .

"Hello?"

"Hey king , it's Kia. Kassidy wanted to talk to you." I ran over my face .

"Aight I got a lil while." She said ok before it went quiet for a while.

"Hey daddy!" I heard Kas voice, I smiled .

"Hey baby girl , what you doing?" I asked .

"Watching Dora with Kia." She dragged . "Daddy when can I see Jason again?"

"Never." I said , looking at them as they loaded up the truck .

"Daddyy." She whined. I breathed hard .

"I don't know Kas , soon maybe." I mumbled .

"Yayy! Can you bring me some ice cream?" She asked .

"That's why you called me? Just can't talk to your daddy, huh?" I said playfully .

She laughed. "I'll bring you something baby. Tell Kia to text me to remind me."

"Okay!" I heard Kia say in the background .

"Love you too." She said before she hung up . I chuckled as I put my phone back in my pocket . I looked around , furrowing my eyebrows .

We were sitting at Sal & Mookie's waiting on the pizza and our milkshakes to come out . "So what you plan to do bout the Clyde situation?" I asked Chad as I took a sip of my coke .

He ran his hand over his head . "I'm not even sure. I know I'm probably gonna have to end up getting a lawyer and request an evaluation. " he stated .

"Yeah I've read something that talks about that ." I said . He rubbed through his goatee .

"Yeah . Just hope I don't get caught in the process and end up not being able to see him and be in jail." He said .

"They'll rape yo light bright ass." Mel said , still on her phone .

We looked at her . She looked up , looking at us back and forth. "I'm going to the bathroom." She said nonchalantly as she got up , leaving .

"I don't even know what I did for her to hate me. She barely knows me." Chad said as If he really wondered . I waved him off .

"Don't mind it . She just think you're a sn.. Well nothing." He shrugged as he looked away.

"Why you and King fell out?" He asked . I tucked my lips .

"Don't really think that'll be something for you to know. It's kinda between us." He put his hands up.
