When I came home last night, the delicious aroma of chicken filled my nose. My face churned because this was not what I was expecting. I walked to the kitchen where Kassidy was on the island eating a chicken drumstick and Genesis was standing at my stove with black leggings and a white bandeau on.

"Daddy I had so much fun today with Gene!" Kass yelled.

"Did you miss me though?" I asked.

"Nu Uhn," She said. I grabbed my chest while she giggled.

"You didn't miss me huh?" I asked faking like I was gonna cry. I sat her down. "Since you ain't miss me, I'ma just go to work and never come back." I said pretending to leave.

"NO! wait daddy!" She yelled grabbing my legs. "I missed you so much daddy! So so so much!" She smiled. I picked her up.

"That's what I thought." I said throwing her up in the air , making her squeal with laughter. I peeped Genesis watching us.

"Daddy, can Gene stay the night? I haven't had a sleepover since I turned tree," She said holding up three fingers. I looked up at Genesis who smiled at kass.

"Yea, If she wants." I shrugged.

"Gene will you stay pleaaaaaaaase?" She begged holding the please.

"Yea sweetie," She said smiling. Kassidy got up doing the Nae Nae making me laugh. I held my stomach laughing. She looked so funny.

"Get 'Em Kass," I said between laughs. She stopped , putting her hands on her hips watching me laugh, but it was a serious expression. But then she eventually started laughing.

"You a trip mama," I said shaking my head.

"I'ma take a shower. I'll be back," I said to Kassidy. She nodded. I kissed her forehead before walking to my side of the house. I went ahead and took a shower and did the rest of my hygiene.

I put on some Ralph Lauren boxers then some black sweat pants. I put on the white socks and then I walked back to the kitchen. Genesis fixed my plate then gave it to me then sat next to Kass ,eating her own.

It was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn. I said thanks, said my small grace and started eating. I was a little paranoid because my mama always said If you didn't watch her cook it, be careful. So I watched Gene eat then I started eating mine. It was good though.
