I should have expected this. Some fans of Haikyuu did ship Kuroo and Alisa and I was too much of a fool to think that it wouldn’t be true. The couple smiled at each other and exchange a few words before turning to me. I couldn’t hate Kuroo nor Alisa. They didn’t know about my romantic feelings towards Kuroo and I mentally praised myself for not telling Alisa earlier.
I took a few steps closer to the group and bowed as Alisa introduced me and roughly explained my situation. The more she informed them about my existence, the wider their eyes got and the longer they stared at me. Even Kenma seemed amused. Because of this embarrassing situation, I couldn’t make proper eye contact with anyone as my comfort came from looking at the floor where my damaged heart was.
I had to bite down any possible tears, because if I were to make a scene now, all the hope created by Alisa would seize to exist. My only option now was to smile my pain and heartbreak away. There would be plenty of time to cry it out later.
Yamamoto and Lev ran up to me, which made my body tense.
“Are you really from the real world?” Lev asked bending down a bit to match my height.
Yamamoto pushed the tall male away, “Stop asking dumb questions, Lev. Your hot sister just said she was. Anyway, the name is Yamamoto.” After his introduction, he lightly kissed the back of my hand.
While I laughed nervously, the other team members also surrounded me. Great, I’m the center of attention now.
“Stop enclosing yourselves around Y/n. You’re making her uncomfortable.” Kuroo’s deep voice demanded and everyone took a few steps away from me.
He reached out a hand, “I’m Kuroo Tetsurou. A third year.” I managed to shake his hand and I really hoped that everyone would think my blushing would be from the amount of attention I was getting.
“I actually know most of your names.” I said finally looking at the eyes around me.
“Oh.”Kuroo’s eyebrows raised then he smirked, “So what else do you know, Y/n?” Kuroo’s tone paired with his signature smirk made my stomach go like a roller coaster. Somehow I had the ability to keep a calm expression and ignored every little thing that made me fall for the rooster.
“I know some other things, but that’s for me to know and for you to find out.” Kuroo smirked at my comeback. Alisa suddenly spoke up and I had the idea that she was slightly jealous.
“We need to discuss where Y/n would staying and who her main helpers would be.” Alisa wrapped a long arm around my shoulders, making them less tense.
“Our house has a guest room.” Kenma mumbled in a monotone voice.
“Kenma, you sneaky bastard. I know what you’re trying to do.” Yamamoto said with shark teeth, but Kenma seemed unbothered by his childishness and rolled his eyes.
“I have an older sister. You can use her room if you want. She is currently at the university, but will be back in a few weeks. Oh, you probably knew that already, huh?” Kuroo suggested with another smirk coming.
I looked at Alisa who was still smiling sweetly, but I could sense that she didn’t want me to choose Kuroo’s house. I couldn’t blame her, I also would have feel threatened if a random girl would stay at my boyfriend’s house.
I hushed all the other suggestions, “I will stay at Kenma’s house, if he doesn’t mind.” I glanced at the pudding haired.
