Her P.O.V
I didn't care that I was freezing my ass off, or that I was sinking due to the weight of my clothes.
I was perfectly happy wrapped up in the warmth that was Cole.
"You're a dick" I mumbled my face buried into his toned chest.
"I know" He kissed my forehead and I felt him smile against my skin.
"Can we get out I'm freezing" I asked trying to stop my teeth from chattering.
"Of course Ken" He chuckled picking me up and walking up the steps setting me on the deck.
"You didn't have to carry me" I blushed slightly glad it had been dark to hide it.
"I know" He said grabbing a towel from the railing. "But it's my apology for pushing you in" He smiled and wrapped it around me before pulling it close to him.
"You're a clever thing" I couldn't help but smile as I wrapped my arms around his torso.
"Come on let's go get some warm clothes and relax" Cole suggested nudging me in the direction of the house.
Nodding I headed inside taking the towel with me. Cole followed behind as we quickly walked through the halls trying not to get water on the floors.
Slipping into his room I tossed off my wet clothing. Placing them in the hamper wrapping the towel around me. Grabbing a pair or spandex and a sport bra as it was hot.
How I had managed to go from freezing to hot in a matter of seconds amazed even me.
Slipping into my clothing I brushed out my hair and put it in a braid to the side. Opening my door as a signal to Cole that he could come in.
I had turned on my air conditioner so it could cool down before hoping in bed. Grabbing my remote I flicked on the television to some random cheesy hallmark movie.
But my attention was pulled in the direction of Cole. Who walked in on just plain tight black boxers.
"I think you take the term less is more to an extreme" I teased as he closed the door to keep the cool air in.
"You aren't any better then I am, less clothing is better in this weather" He rolled his eyes crawling in next to me.
"I'm only kidding" I smiled moving down to place my head on his chest.
Grabbing my phone as it went off, I saw I had a message from Brooklyn.
Lynnie
Hey girly come to this party at Bryant's tonight. Then I also saw she had sent me a few snapchats. Two which had been her with a bottle in her hand. The other three had been videos of what I was missing with was nothing.
Sorry I want to stay in tonight.
I sent it back and saw Cole looking down at me.
"Go" He suggested with a smile looking down at me.
I shook my head and looked up with a smile. Damn was his smile perfect, why was he so perfect but so off limits. Not that, that was stopping me anyway.
"No this is better then any party" I said before resting my head back on his chest.
My phone vibrated meaning Brooklyn had responded.
Lynnie
Bitch! Absolutely nothing at your damn house could keep you come on a party night.I had laughed and looked up at him.
"Clearly she thinks nothing is going on" He chuckled smiling again.
"You have an amazing smile" I blurted out suddenly.
Regretting it instantly the blush made my face hot with embarrassment. "I'm
sorry that was weird""It's fine" He chuckled revealing his gorgeous smile again.
"Can I see it for a second" He pointed to my phone easing and eyebrow with a devious grin.
"Of course" I nodded handing it over with ease.
Only to see him open my snapchat and aim the camera at our mouths. Flashing his best smile I moved up next to him and flashed mine as well. He took the picture and sent it to Brooklyn.
Handing it back it vibrated not even a second after it had touched my palm again.
Lynnie
Is that Cole?! Are you two a thing?! Okay! Okay! Sorry! I will let you two be! Be safe! Have fun! No babies! Love you!I couldn't help but laugh, that girls loved exclamation points. Everything always seemed exciting because she used them so much.
"How did you know that would work?" I asked him turning my phone off and tossing it to the side.
"Because even though Brook can be nonstop, she respects privacy more then anything" He shrugged simply wrapping his arm around my waist.
"You're a genius" I smiled before finally settling in.
Feeling his chest move as he laughed a little bit at my compliment.
We were both comfy, his hand grazing up and down my side lightly as I drew invisible circles on his bare chest.
A cliche romance movie playing which we weren't really paying attention to and just a comfortable silence between us.
"Hey Cole?" I mumbled not sure if he was awake or not.
"Yeah Ken?" He almost asked more then answered.
"What do we do when summer ends?" I asked my circles drawing slowing down.
"Damn Ken, I don't know. All I know is that I still want you" He said rubbing my side.
"Why do you ask?" He said tilting my chin up.
I sat up and looked at him crossing my legs Indian style.
"I don't know, do you really have a thing with that girl back home?" I mumbled looking down at the bedsheets.
"This is about what I said at dinner to get my mom off my back?" He asked sitting up to talk to me.
"I don't mean to I'm sorry I'll stop" I shook my head.
"Baby stop" He said grabbing my face with two fingers.
When he called me baby I wanted to melt inside. My goodness did it just turn my heart to mush.
"Did I sleep with her, yes. Have I had my fair share of partners, yes. Do I care about them, no. Do I want them, no. Do I want you, yes. Are you my girl, I hope" He said with some uncertainty in his voice.
"I'm your girl" I smiled at him pulling him close.
"You're my girl" He kissed me pulling me into his lap.
Damn was I lucky to be his girl.
