His P.O.V
I couldn't believe I had done that.
I had slept with Olivia, which in Kennedy's eyes was the ultimate betrayal. And the sad thing was I didn't remember a thing.
Not even how I had ended up at the party in the first place. So I had resorted to running.
Running had always helped me clear my head as I focused more on where I was going rather then what was going on.
Which in this case only made me think more as I had found myself on the path I had been taking pretty much daily with Kennedy.
God even saying her name in my head felt like a giant kick to the balls. So I had decided maybe sleep would be the best option.
Turning around and changing my course I was headed home. Moving my legs as fast as possible, anything to keep my mind off of her.
Which clearly wasn't working at the moment as all I could think of was her.
Everything about our last interaction had burned a hole into my memory. Only pushing me to go faster until I really couldn't go any quicker.
Feeling myself almost trip I slow down and end up walking as I see the MCulley house in view.
My legs were burning from how much I had pushed myself. Since I had actively quick track and cross country back in eight grade I didn't run unless it was from the cops.
Making my way up the driveway slowly I saw Rocko was home. Boy would this be interesting was all I could think.
Had Kennedy told her father what was happening between us? She couldn't have because she would get in trouble as well.
But maybe she did just to make it so that I would get in trouble.
Tentatively I walked inside to see Rocko standing there.
"Hello Michole" He grimaced arms crossed while giving me a stern gaze.
"Hi, is something wrong" I asked slipping off my shoes.
"Notice anything different" He asked me raising an eyebrow.
"No why" I asked raising one in return to him.
"Take a whiff then answer again" He said his jaw tensing.
So I did as told, I had smelled something familiar when I walked in but I couldn't put my finger on it. Inhaling without being distracted the smell instantly came to me.
It absolutely reeked of weed for whatever reason.
"It smells like marijuana sir" I said watching for his reaction.
"And why would my house smell like marijuana son" He said walking closer to me.
"I have no idea why sir" I answered honestly.
"So you're telling me that if I checked your stuff I would find nothing" He raised his eyebrow again.
"Absolutely sir" I nodded, my stuff was clean so he could check.
"Follow me then" He called as he walked up the steps.
I did as told and walked up the steps only to have the smell become a lot stronger. It certainly wasn't my stud because I had gotten rid of everything.
Walking into my room a few steps behind I saw Rocko kneeling down before he stood up. Turning around I saw something in his hands.
"What is this" He asked holding up a lighter and a small bowl.
"That's not mine" I defended immediately pointing at it.
"Really, are you going to tell me if I look through the rest of your stuff I won't find anything else" He almost growled at me.
"Go ahead" I shouted angrily.
So he did just that, raiding the closet, dumping out my suitcase, and finally going going to the bedside table.
He took the drawer and emptied it onto the bed before throwing it across the room.
There on the bed was a bottle of pills, weed and a tiny bottle of vodka.
"Stop lying!" He screamed at me causing me to flinch.
"It's not mine I swear" I shouted back "I've been clean test my blood! I've never popped pills in my life!" I shouted again.
"That's it Cole! I'm done, I have given you the benefit of the doubt more then I should have but this is too far. The blatant audacity you have to have to smoke weed in my house is ridiculous" He said coming over and grabbing me by the back of my shirt.
"Rocko it's not mine I swear!" I said trying to jerk out of his grip.
He pushed me against the door before pulling me back and pushing me to start walking down the stairs. Stumbling as he still had a good grip on me as we walked to the front door.
"MCulley listen to me it's not mine!" I shouted again.
"Stop lying! Just stop lying for once, I knew I didn't trust you " He said jerking me back and opening the front door.
"Rock stop" I said trying to dig my feet into the rocks.
"Stop lying" He said jerking me up straight and walking to his car.
Jesus this guy was beyond strong and certainly outweighed me. As he had basically picked me up and forced me in the back of his car.
"Don't try to move" He growled slamming the door and walking to the drivers seat.
I was beyond pissed because it had only taken me a second to figure out what was going on once all the chaos had stopped.
This was all Kennedy, it was her way of getting back at me for sleeping with Olivia. Which clearly she though I did maliciously to hurt her. When in reality I had no recollection of that night.
I had hurt her, but this form of revenge was beyond fucked up. She knew her father would never believe if I said it was her. But he would believe that I would do that.
This girl we absolutely fucking crazy, but the really sad thing was I wasn't mad at her.
The drive seemed long as I had no idea where we were going. Not to mention the angry giant that was driving the car kept glaring at me through the mirror.
Eventually pulling into a large gated barb wired building and turned around and gave me a sick grin.
