The one that got away

"Thank you Haru" I smiled looking into his beautiful eyes trying to hold my composure

I hadn't had a bad life, my choice of words before were questionable however right now all I wanted was to have Haru by my side

It's over isn't it... I lost the fight

"Y/n... we could've had a happy life" my fiancé was now tearing up, all I could do was reach my arm out to him hoping for him to come to me

Haruchiyo proceeded to lay next to my bloodied body with a sigh

"You know... I think I first fell for you the day we met all those years back since that day I knew I wanted to be the one to stand by your side to protect, to love and that's why when you proposed I never hesitated because I knew I wanted to marry you a long time ago" I coughed out

Things seemed peaceful right now

"When you kissed me that day... now that was the happiest day of my life to know that the guy I had the biggest crush on liked me back" he giggled looking at me sniffling a little holding his tears

"Yeah I was so nervous back then because I felt like I wasn't good enough for you y/n..." I shook my head at his response

I smiled with tears in my eyes

"I'll love you forever Haru, I'm sorry forever had to come so soon..."

Haruchiyo came over and hugged my cold body beginning to let his tears fall

"I love you y/n I just don't understand why you would betray Mikey like this"

Thinking back maybe I was wrong to do what I did it was selfish of me however nothing mattered at this moment

"I did it to protect you I've always done it to protect you Haruchiyo" his eyes widened with confusion

He now clenched to me sobbing uncontrollably

He reached into his pocket and threw a baggie of some substance away

"I feel as though if I even tried to forget this moment right now it won't go away" he cried

"Hey Haru... please don't leave me"

"Okay beautiful..."

Haru's pov

I did the last thing I could've done for her and stayed.

The lights of my club shining on her skin made her look so beautiful in this moment

I felt as though I was falling in love all over again...

Except I knew I was about to loose it

She had been silent for a while now so I checked her pulse...

She was dead.

I gave my love one last kiss on the forehead closing her eyes

"I never wanted to say goodbye..."

I checked the time on my phone and realised Mikey wanted to see me in an hours time so I gave y/n one last hug before leaving the building

I messaged Koko to let him know I needed some men to clean my club and give y/n a proper burial to which I received a long string of texts that I couldn't be assed with reading.
