Chapter 8

Jamie's POV

I grabbed the blaze rods and ran from Simon. he was a lot faster than I expected and caught up really quickly. He grabbed my arms and pulled towards him. I wrapped myself in his arms.

"didn't know you were so fast," I said.

"there's a lot you don't know about me," he said. I faced him.

"like what?"

Simons POV

My hands were shaking and I was sweating. Was I really going to say this? What would happen? What if- no stop it Simon just say it already.

I took a deep breath.

"I love you." the words came out and echo around. Jamie leaned in close and I did too. She must like me back. I was just so happy like a heavy weight was just lifted of my shoulders. The space between us almost was gone when Jamie fell back screaming.

"are you okay? What happened?" I screamed running to her side.

She laid down on the ground groaning in pain. She turned her head and I looked over my shoulder. A blaze Shot her arm. I got up and ran towards the stupid thing and screamed.

I hit my sword right in its face as it fell to the ground and disintegrated leaving behind two glowing blaze rods.

Jamie's POV

The pain in my left shoulder was unbearable. I couldn't move so I laid on the ground lifeless. I saw black spots. Simon lifted me up and ran back through the portal. I tried so hard to keep my eyes open but they closed before we got back to the house.

I woke up on my bed with a block of ice on my shoulder. I took it off and moved my shoulder. It still hurt but not as much. There was a giant burn right where I was hit and little cuts on my arm. I got up and went to the kitchen. I saw Simon sitting in a chair eating an apple.

"Hey," I said. His head spun around.

"Hey," he smiled. He got out of his chair and walk towards me.

"how's your shoulder?" he asked.

"good." he nodded. It was not good but I didn't want to sit in my bed with ice on my shoulder and Medicine until it felt better. I knew he'd make me do that.

"Can we finish what we were starting in the nether?" I asked grinning. I was nervous to ask but, hey, it WAS all romantic until a stupid blaze came and ruined it.

"sure." he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back. I wanted to kiss him for so long. The way he kissed seemed like he was longing for this to happen also.

We parted from our kiss and I smiled.

"I like you too," I grinned.

Not love but like. Love is different. With boys it's love, like, date, girlfriend boyfriend, all the same thing. But with girls it's different.

"I'm really sick of minecraft right now," I said.

"yeah me too," he agreed.

"have any enderpearls?"

"yeah,"

"let's go on our last adventure." "and get outta here."

Simon nodded. I kissed him on the cheek and went back to my room. 

I looked back at Simon and he was grinning ear to ear.
