Chapter 42: The Trap

After rehearsal Bridgit immediately left. She really didnt want to see anybody. She was happy she only needed 2 more episodes for the finale of season 3 to film. As she was driving home she got a phone call from Samantha.

"Hey Samantha" Bridgit said as she answered her phone. "Hi B I wanted to know if you want to come over and hang out?" Samantha asked her. "I dont know I really dont want to run into your brother" Bridgit explained.

"Dont worry about my brother actually nobody is home my parents are on vacation. Shane and Sullivan are hanging out with Matt come on B this will be my last night in this house well at least sleeping here" Samantha said. She was taking the next big step by moving in with Matt.

Bridgit agreed so instead of going home she went to the Harper residence. What Bridgit didn't know what Samantha was not going to be there. Bridgit pulled into the drive way and walked up to the front.

Bridgit seen that the door was slightly opened "Hello? Samantha you here?" Bridgit said as she entered the house. Then all of a sudden the door shut behind her which scared Bridgit.

Then she seen Shane standing there "What are you doing here?" She asked him. "Well I do live here" he said smiling. Bridgit didnt feel like talking to him she turned to leave. She tried to opened it but it was locked. "Its locked from the outside we cant leave" Shane said.

Bridgit turned around to face him. "This isnt funny now open the door!" Bridgit said little by little loosing her temper. "Im telling you I cant open it its locked from the outside" he said clearly enjoying the situation.

At that moment her phone began to ring. She immediately answered because she seen it was Samantha. "Samantha where are you at? This isnt funny" she said.

"Can you please put it on speaker" Samantha said so Bridgit did. "Im sorry for lying to you but you and Shane need to talk and clear things so I will be over tomorrow at noon, so i suggest you guys sort it out" Samantha said and hung up.

Shane gave her a small smile. Bridgit shook her head because her phone had just turned off. "Since were here can we talk" he asked but she shook her head and walked around trying to find a way to leave.

Shane followed her still talking to her. "There is no way out please hear me out I made the biggest mistake and Im sorry Bridgit please forgive me I love you" he said. She stopped and turned to face him.

"Stop it will you stop it already Im tired of you playing games you with Debby and I accept it" she said. He got closer to her until they were nose to nose "Im not playing any games B i really mean it breaking up with you and getting with Debby was the worse mistake and now Im paying the price" he said.

"You made your choice Shane and now we have to go our separate ways" she said. They looked into each other eyes and before she knew it Shane kissed her. What surprised her more was rhat she didnt even stop him instead she kissed him too.

They kept kissing until she realized that what they were doing was wrong. She pulled away "stop please just stop dont you see how all this is making me confused you hurt me Shane and I cant get over that you know how I feel everytime I see you with Debby" she said and walked away.
