Mike was asleep when he heard a phone ringing. "What the fuck-" He said whilst answering the telephone by his bed. "What." He said and was not expecting the voice on the other end. "M-Mike, it-it's Will. My- my dad came back." Mike hadn't heard from the boy in what felt like forever.

He knew that Wills father was extremely abusive so he knew that even though Will and him haven't talked in years he needed to help his ex-friend.
-----With Will-----

"FUCKIN F----T YOU'RE A FUCKIN Q---R YOU KNOW THAT? YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO OUR FUCKING FAMILY!" Will was just sitting there waiting for Mike. He was bleeding from the punches and slaps his father had given him. His mom hadn't been there and Jonathan was with Nancy. "Pl-please...S-stop.."

He tried to spit out but it was no use. Lonnie started to come closer pulling his belt up and holding it up in the air when Mike burst through the door. "Get the fuck away from him." He just got closer to Will. "This your f-----t boyfriend? Fucking disgrace." He got closer and closer before slapping his arm down hitting Will.

Mike threw himself at Lonnie telling him he was a bitch dad and telling him to get out. Lonnie threw him off and continued beating Will. Mike went to the phone and dialed 911. "Help- Will Byers dad is- Help- 4819 Lonzo St. Get here now." With that he hung up the phone and tried to do anything in his power to stop Lonnie from beating him.

He kept jumping on Lonnie but that only got him pushed through a glass table and passed out. He remembered nothing after that except waking up in the hospital with Will in the bed next to his. "Will..." Will woke up and looked at Mike. "Mike..?" Mike nodded. "You're okay now. Hes rotting in jail."

Will nodded his head as a doctor came in. "I see you two have woken up. How are you guys feeling." Will started to talk first. "My body hurts and my mouth hurts as well." The doctor nodded. "That's normal considering what happened with your father." Will nodded. "How about you Mr.Wheeler?"

Mike started to talk. "My back hurts like hell and I can barely move my legs or head." The doctor nodded. "Yes. That is also normal, do you remember what happened to you." Mike shook his head. "Well, you called the police and i'm guessing tried to fight back against Mr.Byers father and ended up crashing into a glass table. Chief of police Hopper came and got Mr.Byers' dad in jail."

Mike nodded and saw Will start to tear up. "Hey- Will are you okay?" He nodded. "I just can't believe that I never have to see him again." Will smiled and so did Mike. Even though Will looked like shit with tubes up his nose Mike blushed at the other boy's smile. The doctor nodded, "So I understand that you have been a victim of this abuse before?"

Will sighed. "Yes, he's done it every time he visits and he used to do it everyday when he lived with us." I sighed. "Did anything else happen? Like anything to your mother or brother?" Will nodded. "My mom also got hit and my brother was once forced to sleep in his car because he was acting 'gay'"

The doctor nodded and left the room. "Thank you for answering." Mike and Will both nodded their heads. Mike felt a sharp pain in the back of his neck and winced, "Fuckin shit.." Will looked to the side. "Are you okay." Mike smiled, "Yeah-yeah i'm alright. Are you okay." Mike asked questioning.

"Yeah I-" Before he could finish a girl came in running screaming, "Mikey baby!!" It was Jane Hopper, Chief of Police's daughter and most popular girl at Hawkins High. "Oh hey Jane." The girl went over to Mike pulling him into a close hug. There was another person who came in and her name was Max.

She was Will's bestest friend. She was bisexual and Will knew, Max also knew that Will was gay. She never started the rumors though. That was Troy Walsh, famous for bullying people at Hawkins High and being best buds with Jason Carver. Another one of Hawkins most famous bullies.

Max came running in and ran straight to Will making very long eye contact with Jane Hopper. "Max." She looked at Will and blushed. Wills eyes became wide as she gave Max a 'YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON THE MOST POPULAR GIRL???' and of course Max shrugged. She was never good at feelings ever since Billy, her brother, passed away in a car crash.

Mikes POV:

"Anyways, what the fuck happened? Did your dad come home or something?" Will looked the other way and sighed. "Oh he did, come here." She pulled Will in for a hug as Jane gave them a sympathetic look. She turned back to me. "Now- What the hell happened Mike?! I was worried sick because you were on the news!"

I nodded my head but couldn't take my attetion away from the smaller boy with the red-headed girl. The red-head kept staring at Jane and I saw her blush earlier. It probably means nothing. "Mike!" I turned up to Jane. "Yeah- Sorry." She shook her head. "Do you wanna tell me what happened."

"I um- I crashed my dads car." She shook her head. "Mike- don't fucking lie to me. I saw your dad's car perfectly fine in the driveway." I looked at her in confusion. "Why the hell where you at-" Before I could finish she interuppted. "I was checking to make sure you weren't there." I nodded.

She sighed and sat on my bed. "Mike, i'm not gonna get mad at you." I looked at Will checking for consent so I could tell her what happened at the house. He nodded and I went on. "Well..."

"Holy shit Mike.. That's amazing!" I looked at her in suprise. "You risked being in a hospital for someone you barely talk to!! That's amazing!" I smiled. She went over to my ear. "True love makes you crazy so they say." I looked at her in suprise thinking she was gonna make fun of me. I didn't even know what my sexuality was!

She pulled up her sleeve and showed me a tattoo. "Hop let me get this." She showed me a bisexual flag. I smiled and hugged her. "Besides, I think I like someone else." She nodded her head to the red-head still talking to Will. I smiled. "You two would look nice together." She nodded.

"What about school?" Jane sighed. "We could just pretend to be together for school until we are ready to come out." I nodded. "You think he likes me back?" Jane smiled. "Only way to find out is asking him yourself."

A/N: First chapter of new story finally out!!! I'm sorry that I didn't post it last night- I had something come up<3 I hope you guys like this one bc I know I kind of rushed Steve and Eddie getting together in the last story so i'm gonna have friendship chapters and let them be friends before they get together<3 Again, I hope you guys liked it and I won't be posting anymore today bc I have to babysit with my sister:) Bye bye<333
