I watched Shrek the other day and it gave me this idea :)

~3rd person's P.O.V~

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, was a kingdom known as Neo kingdom.

The king and Queen ruled the land and all the villagers within, who lived a normal villager life, were happy nonetheless.

The emperors were fair people and treated their people well, all while doing a good job of taking control of the land.

But unbeknownst to them, the King and Queen were keeping a dark secret from them, a secret that no one could ever imagine.

It was said that the King and Queen had two sons, sadly, both of who had died at birth due to health conditions.

The villagers knew that they lost two sons and that they had no children, but that wasn't the case.

The King and Queen knew that they still needed an heir to the throne, so after the death of the first two babies, they tried again, but this time, they took precautions.

Years ago, a magical flower was rumoured to exist, one with special powers that healed all illnesses. All the person had to do was swallow a single petal and they'd be cured.

So when the Queen got pregnant, the King sent his men to find said enchanted flower. They searched for weeks until they finally located it deep within the forest.

As soon as they found it, they brought it back to the castle and offered it to the Queen who swallowed the petals, praying to give birth to a healthy baby.

Fortunately, after nine months, a princess was born, who they named Y/n.

They were overjoyed to finally have a healthy baby, but only after a few months, did they notice something different about the girl, or more specifically, her eyes.

Upon her birth, they noticed that the first tears she shed, were gold, identical to the colour of the flower.

After reading up about it, searching every last book they could find, they finally got answers.

The golden petals of the flower were magical and when it was swallowed, its powers would be passed down to the person who it healed. It said that a single tear had the ability to heal all illnesses.

So they took a sample of her tears to see if it was true and to their suspicions, it was correct.

They knew that if anyone learned of her powers, they'd try to use her and could even go to extreme measures to get her, even if it meant killing her.

So they hid her- kept her locked in the tallest tower in the castle to make sure no one could find her. The villagers didn't even know of her existence.

But princess Y/n hated it- she hated that she was stuck there day and night. She wanted to explore, see the world and meet her soulmate, but sadly she couldn't.

As much as she hated it, they said they did it for her own good, to keep her safe- only Y/n couldn't see that.

Amongst the villagers, lived a young man named Jaemin. A villager who lived a normal life like everyone else, except, he was an explorer.

Jaemin was a curious man and yearned to learn all the secrets of the kingdom. He'd study its history of it and at night, while the villagers were sleeping, he would explore the land to discover all its mysteries.

Yet there was one thing he didn't understand- the tallest tower of the castle. He found it strange why it was so tall and looked very secure.

He had suspicions that the king and queen were hiding something and he had an idea of what it could be- or should we say who it could be.

Yes, Jaemin was very observant and highly intelligent so he knew that there was something hidden.

He'd been pondering about it for weeks. So one night, when curiosity got the best of him, he decided he would try to break in.

He waited till everyone was in their houses to sneak out and attempt to get to the tower, using a grappling hook.

As well as being highly educated, he knew how to sneak around, so he climbed on top of the wall, surrounding the castle, threw the hook which surprisingly worked and began to climb.

To his surprise, there weren't any guards surveilling the tower, which he thought was strange but he continued to climb until he finally reached the top.

He climbed in the open window and stood there for a moment, surprised at how easy it was

"Well that was easier than expected," he said to himself.

"Who are you?"
